Absolutely nothing about having the right people in the right jobs, about training, about management systems using formal quality management, about accountability... Just waffle and some lets do it a bit better stuff. On the radio he said it will take 10 years, which is possibly true, but only once the clock starts ticking which it hasn't yet.

A hidden side effect of green initiatives is increased maintenance costs and hidden carbon. Eg more repair trips and more spare parts.

Shouldn't the goal be to "improve education" rather than "improve the daft carbon footprint"
