Ah, Ludovicos technique.
Remember, the conundrum posed by Burgess - if a man cannot exercise choice freely [even morally repugnant choices, such as those favoured by our amoral anti-hero, Alex] then he ceases to be a man........he becomes, instead, a clockwork orange.
I'm sure Lloret de Mar is not quite as gang ridden as certain parts of Peckham, or Moss Side ?

I have worked all over the world and in some pretty dodgy cities, but the only place I was scammed was Madrid. I fell for the bogus policeman scam and before I realised it my credit cards had been palmed and they were off. 200 quid spent before I managed to get them stopped.

"black holes of crime" you can't say that !
There was a dim Government spokeswoman on the radio today carping on about how " We must educate these youngsters about the danger of carrying knives and give them other outlets for their energies "
No, stupid, cossetted, liberal bint; consfiscate their knive and lock them up.
They carry knives for the the sole purpose of intimidating others and, if " dissed ", kill them.
Just how wil providing them with a ping pong table alter that ?

Wat, your prejudice is showing again, viz Liverpudlian. You know that most of the drunken brawling and thieving is done by retired civil servants living in Surrey, Guilford is particular hotspot, on Thursday afternoons. As usual the police & the Government conive to hide these statistics.

Having worked for many years in a society under Sharia law, where policing was always pretty feeble, I still felt very safe at all times in all areas until about 2000 when other tensions grew.
Now policing here has descended to the feeble. Bring on Sharia! Noon on Sundays, after church, would have a new appeal down in the town square.
