Wat, from that post I have just twigged where NuLab got its methods: the fast food trade, as imported from the USA: use the cheapest ingredients you can think of and charge as much money as you can also think of. Then provide special offers (£2.7bn tax rebate), except that they have already spent the money.
Mind you, there is still excellent fast food: the best fish 'n chips in my area, best I have ever tasted (well, best since we stopped frying it in lard), is fried by 3 Turkish men and a Polish lady just down the road. And does my family know its fish: Mum used to sell headless cod wholesale at 4/6 (old money) a stone in Huddersfield, but the family (and most other Yorkshire people who could afford it) wouldn't have anything less than haddock wrapped in their newspapers.

I've just moved back into Donnie North after forty - odd years of being away. I voted in the local elections where the three main parties were standing. Labour came last, Lib won. Unthinkable when I was a lad here. Maybe dear old Ed M won't have it so easy at the GE.
