Your PS is pretty shocking. Sure it's been a bad week, but if they can't update you, much less execute on your behalf, when there's a crunch, shouldn't you ditch them? Retail investors are too often treated like pond scum in the UK.
You need to change your broker/purveyor of Low cost trackers (prefer ETFs myself)...
