I hope you are right, Professor LaRoche. There is so much hard work being done in the Political Relativism market, protecting Obama against charges of dishonesty.
Some of that is politics, yes. And I have never been an enthusiastic McCain supporter. But I do feel the cold wind of Ross Perot right now, from people who clearly dislike John McCain so very much that they will make equivalent his actions to those of Barack Obama.
I surely do hope I am wrong.

Despite all of the slime that has been thrown at Palin, I think that she and McCain will prevail in the end. Obama and Biden are offering nothing compelling for their side, just the same old tax-and-spend / soft-on-our enemies nonsense.
Also, did you hear what Biden said about the McCain e-mail ad of a couple of weeks ago?

It's one thing to disagree with an opponent's politics. But this goes beyond demonizing. And I am starting to worry about these people, since I see so much that the Left is doing these days that reeks of psychological projection.
I have my fingers crossed about November. But I don't think anyone should be sitting out this election, or going Third Party. True, it is their business how they vote, but the way that the Left is involved with Obama feeds right into Jonah Goldberg's thesis. Brrrr.
Good grief, Naomi Wolf is a nutjob. The only thing preventing me from calling her a liberal fascist is a sense of compassion for the obviously insane.
The thing that gets me is that I strongly suspect some projection here. Good sweet God help us if nuts like this get into power.
My wife went to college with Wolf's ex-husband, by the way. Nothing from these folks surprises her.
To say nothing of the fact that even fascists have their rational side. She doesn't.
