Indeed. I'm not sure our next round of elections will be all that legitimate. The Republic's days are numbered, I fear.

Every society's days are numbered. I suspect, though, that our number is up and we just don't know it for a fact yet. If the 2010 election is rigged, then the last legitimate election (to a degree; the MSM did compromise it) will have been yesterday's.

We do not have to despair. We must not give in, we must not surrender. Ever. The Gay Patriot had it right, we are well rid of those in our party who shift to the center. We can clean out those who failed us fiscally. Republicans fail when we drift away from our core values. We lost the House and the Senate in '06 because those in office forgot who they served, they forgot that we voted for them to keep government small.
