Very interesting, and who is it who is in the process of building that new stadium down there in hopes of bringing a team to the area?

Rowlski I think. The guy who built Staples center and is a part owner of the Lakers and Kings.
I am not convinced LA actually wants a team. We already have one pro team in USC

For my own selfish reasons, I want the Rams to stay in STL, just so I have a Seahawks game a mere 90 minutes away every year. :-]
Besides that, the Debartolo thing and the Rams moving to LA both sound awesome.

I'd like the Rams to move to BF Egypt for Josh Browns sake. Should remind him of his home state Oklahoma. The home of the Dust Bowl.

After the whole Sonics mess, I really don't want to see any more fans suffer through a big market team moving.

At the end of the article link it says the guy who owns the Nuggets and Avalanche couldnt own the Rams because of an NFL rule about owning other sports teams in different markets - I thought they already changed that rule so Paul Allen could buy the Hawks when he already owned the Blazers? Was that a one time you are the richest guy who ever wanted to buy a team exception or what?

The rule is that you can only own teams in different leagues if they are in the same city or a city that doesn't compete with the NFL. Because Portland doesn't have an NFL team it was allowed.
Denver obviously does.

I would like to see the Rams and Hawks rivalry fourish but I wouldn't mind it if they got moved either.
If they did move to LA would they still be in the NFC WEST?

A cool thought I had was to move the Rams to LA and have them switch divisions with the Raiders so we could rekindle that heated AFC WEST rivalry....

Plus the Raiders should be bad for the next 20 years or so. Maybe longer if Al Davis finds a way to stay alive, or has his brain implanted into a computer that will then run the Raiders for all of eternity.
