Seahawk Addicts

Gravatar Hey! I was at THAT game too :-]

Here's the pics

Here's what I said back then about it:

That was a triple barf-bucket kind of game; It left me slumped in exhaustion after Gus Freotte ’s fumble on 4th and Goal from the 1-yard line. After that, however, I was all smiles.

It was a brutally ugly game, but give the Seahawks credit for clawing back from a 19-7 halftime deficit in a division game on the road.. This is the second season in a row that STL blew a big halftime lead to lose to Seattle at home, and this time the win was dependent on HUGE goal-line stands by the Seattle D once in each half.

The experience of watching a game at the Edward Jones Dome was pleasant, but a bit boring. The fans rarely did more than clap politely, and the dome itself had the atmosphere of a comfortable, brand new Costco Warehouse rather than an NFL stadium. The stadium was only about 75% full, and most of those folks left with over 5 minutes left in the game. On the plus side, no one gave me any crap the whole day, and more than one person congratulated me on the Seahawks ’ win after the final gun. The bottom line? While I don’t respect the Rams “faithful” as football fans, I do respect them as decent human beings.

We had a fun afternoon, and it helped that there were a couple dozen Seahawks fans scattered in the section around us … That made it feel a little bit like Qwest East.. :-]

Yes, the Rams are abysmal, but it ’s always sweet to defeat a hated division rival (particularly for the 6th time in a row)… Now I’ve seen the Hawks play in NINE different stadiums, and I plan to make the trip down to STL annually from here on out.

Gravatar Anytime we beat the Rams in St Louis it is a positive. It seemed like it took us a decade after realignment to be able to win there

Gravatar It was a joy watching Branch work in the 2nd half. It reminds me that he's our best receiver if we can get him back and healthy.

Bust? Overrated? My arse!

Gravatar That is exactly what i was thinking too BT! I was thinking how he actually is the perfect receiver for the system, and he is pretty good at winning one on one battles in short areas. He just needs to stay healthy.
