What is the current contract situation of CB Kelly Jennings? I would be more worried of him becoming a FA than most of the other players you named.
Off Topic here, but I was thinking you should promote the fact that NFL.com is letting fans rank the teams for next year and maybe you can rally the troops here to put Seattle up at #1 so we can "take it to the man." Just a thought, not much going on in the league these days.

seems as if this is going to be a great segway for us signing those three guys to long term deals, provided they do their job this year.

Just a thought but with the recent news of Jason Taylor maybe being on his way out of Miami, would it be possible for us to pick him up if Bill Parcell's lets him go?

Jeremy, question: Would we still be responsible for Jason Taylor's gigantic salary? I seem to remember he gets paid $17 million a year for the two years remaining on his contract.

Although, I think you are selling the Hawks best case scenario short. I think a fair best case would be 12-13 wins. But I have been accused of being a bit of a homer before!

Strategerie: I don't think we would have to pick up his current salary unless he was traded. I could be wrong but I don't see any team that picks up Shaun Alexander having to pay the rediculous salary we gave him.
that is why we paid a penalty to release him. Same scenario with Jason Taylor. If the Dolphins release him they will most likely have to pay a penalty for it. Besides he is worth the money. Taylor is a sack machine.
Say what you will about dancing with the stars, but I do know that all that dancing is going to give him an advantage next year because his footwork should be improved from dancing.
jeremy, I was a big "DWTS" booster! It was fun watching Jason Taylor dance. Plus, it was nothing but good PR for the NFL, too.
I think Mr. Parcells and Co. would be shocked to learn what good exercise ballroom dancing is, and it would have been a great tie-in with the "Play 60" program as well. Truth be told, though, I have to believe that Mr. Parcells is just jealous. Nobody wanted to dance with him!
