Had low expectations of a guy dumped by the 49ers, but he contributed well. Much better to have him than that other Jimmy Williams that we took Jennings over.
Why is Julian Peterson's jersey on sale on the seahawks.com proshop page. The only other players jerseys who are on sale are shaun and josh brown... is this bad news for the hawks and JP or what's going on?
I was at the Tampa game he got hurt at, I liked the guy but he was awful in coverage. As soon as Herndon got hurt that game the Bucs were picking on him every play and it was working. Also, wasn't Williams the one in the 05' playoff game against the Skins that had that really scary punt return?
I seem to remember Williams mishandling multiple punts in the playoffs and losing his punt return duties to Peter Warrick (though I'm not entirely certain that's who took over). He drove me absolutely crazy and I was adamant that the Seahawks needed to use a draft pick on someone who could actually field a punt.
