So what happened?! Sims hurt himself in the first three days of NON-CONTACT
mini-camp?!
PFT Rumor mill dude is always yowling about how teams are making mini-camps like training camp, even though its illegal, and players get injured....and the NFL looks the other way...
Im starting to see his point. If Sims needed the knee scoped after last season, it should have been done earlier. If he hurt it in Mini-camp, either he was lazy and didnt stay in shape over the offseason, or he got hurt in Mini Camp probably due to mini camp having too much contact.
Which begs the question: is it REALLY worth it to push players in such a brutal sport to practice 3/4 speed with contact for mini camps in April/may?!

What I took from the article was that the scope was planned all along, they just moved the procedure up.
I wish he could have participated in the mini-camp for veterans, but this scope doesn't seem too serious (at least the way they seem to be reporting it).
Time will tell.
