Earlier you referenced the relative unimportance of the June 1st date. One questions that I have is whether or not the Hawks ever decided to make Alexander a June 1 cut or to take his whole cap hit this year? I presume that because I have not heard any news on this issue they have decided to accept the whole hit this year, but I could be wrong. Any clarification?

Shaun was not a June 1st cut. I think they felt like they could eat it all this year and make room next year.
