Gravatar I Loved this draft and offseason.

I think our offseason needs (with my 20/20 hingsight were:
1 - Big TE who can catch and block
2 - Badass OG
3 - Better coaching for the O-line and running game.
4 - Speed RB who can catch and block
5 - DT as an insurance policy in case Tubbs or Bernard can't play.
6 - RDE to rotate with Tapp and stuff the run.
7 - FB who can move the pile on 4th and 1.
8 - WR for depth (or backup QB so Wallace can play WR)
9 - K
10 - long snapper

Looks like we got them all:
1 - Carlson
2 - Wahle
3 - Solari
4 - Jones
5 - Bryant
6 - Jackson
7 - Ducket and Schmitt
8 - Frye
9 - Mare and Coutu
10 - Schmidt

Merry Christmas Hawk fans!

Gravatar I think I would have like to see some new meat to add depth to our receiving core. Losing D. Jack and Hackett over the last two years, not to mention Branch and his knee, I think we need some work here. I know that the organization is putting a lot of stock in Taylor and Ben O, but they have yet to be proven. Hackett and Branch combined had 1045 yards, 81 catches, and 7 TD's. Ben O and Taylor had a total of 210 yards 17 catches and 1 TD. Ben O and Taylor played in 21 combined games, while Hack and Branch played in 17. Now I know that our two youngsters were held 5th and 6th roster spots, as opposed to hacks and branchs 1st and 2nd. All I am saying is that it would have been nice to get another guy in there to battle it out. I will also like to acknowledge that that guy just might be Mr. Practice Squad, Logan Payne...
