I have done several large I.T. steering committee projects using Google Docs... and I must say, it sucks big donkey doo-doo. Some day Google Docs may actually be useful, but all parts of it are so limited today that it's only good for basic text sharing and lists.
Complete crud other than that. For instance, why can't we go to the google list and easily sort it the way we want without copying it into excel first? You should be able to have an option to cache a copy and then use sorting features, etc, even as a read only type user. I HATE google docs, period.

Oh, and I am a major Excel wonk, by the way, Michael. Also, there is a FREE Excel viewer you can make available, so that anyone can see an Excel Spreadsheet without having to buy Excel or dumb down the spreadsheet to some generic downloadable format.

The excel file should be downloadable!
IN the right column, under the ticker, where it says download Seahawks Roster
I got figured out most of what I wanted to do with it, for now.
Here is the question I pose to anyone man (or woman) enough to take the challenge....
My Roster has 84 players, I excluded Jeff Robinson who is techinically still on the roster. He would be 85. There should be 86!!! But I can't figure out who the freak I am missing!
If you can figure it out you win a big shinny gold star!

I like that out of 85 players on the roster, we only have 12 players 30 years old and older. The Seahawks have a good blend of veterans in their prime and younger players coming up behind them. That bodes well for seeing the team continuing as an annual contender for the division title and post season play.
Keep in the hunt every year and sooner or later we'll have another injury free year when it all comes together and we'll be back in the big game. I'm excited about this season and think that this could be another magical year if we don't have any serious injuries that leaves us vulnerable in an important phase of the game.
