Loved the interview with Jackson on KJR, seems like a great guy. Thought the guy interviewing, Mitch is it? Found him pretty irritating.

Great Press conferences, really looking forward to watching these guys line up for the Seahawks

Gravatar Funny, I like Mitch. I think his show is the best on KJR, but only because he takes very limited calls. He is pretty good at telling it like it is.

Gravatar I am not sure I have ever been so excited about a pair of picks. The more I hear the more I like. Tim Ruskell is my hero. Excuse me, I have to go order some jerseys now!

Gravatar I thought both Carlson and Jackson
were well spoken in the interview. They seem like good character guys.
I hope they do well for the Hawks!

Gravatar Wow this draft was awesome, every guy the Hawks picked can make the team and contribute right away.

Jackson - Solid pick
Carlson - Solid pick
Bryant - Awesome pick
Owen - Awesome pick
Long snapper - ehh maybe could have waited.
Forsett - Solid pick
Coutu - Awesome pick

Gravatar Lo-Jack seems like a very savvy young man that is mature beyond his years. Much more at ease communicating than Carlson. Carlson appears to be shy and chooses his words carefully. As an aside, Lofa was a big fan of Lo-Jack and apparently expressed as much to the coaches.

Seem like solid additions. I look forward to seeing how they handle training camp.

Gravatar Two great young men right there. Those are two guys that are gonna be in this league A LOOOONG time.

Very impressed with how well spoken Jackson was, and his praise for Carlson says a lot.

As someone mentioned above, Carlson seems a little softer spoken and shy. Carlson seems like a silent assassin. He wont talk trash to you on the field, but he'll burn ya for 100 yards.

Carlson seems like the polar opposite of a Vernon Davis (who was the top tight end in 2006)...which is probably a good thing.

Gravatar One good thing about being an old fart is that you can see a little deeper into the players and what their skill sets will bring to the table. I'll start backwards and rather quickly. The absolute brilliance of this draft still makes me chuckle with delight.
Kicker and LS are great additions. The little RB was nothing other than the BPA, but also really worth a good look after seeing what Drew has been doing. Don't be surprised if the kid makes the squad and MOMO doesn't, no disrespect intended. Dude had a ton of yards in Pac-10 play.
I'm going to lump Carlson and Beer truck together here because they represent a change, but it's old school smashmouth football, and the theam that play us will limp off the field after the game. Why did we take a big slow TE? Because he can blast a BIG block on a LB'er, then settle into the flat for a nice 8 yd gain, that leaves a safety with a sore jaw. Then the next play, seal the corner while BT (beer truck) rolls through looking for a facemask to crush, followed by either thunder or lightning, or even perhaps a little 5-8 blur. Hass will eat up DB's and the passing game will be wide open. It will be so sick there will be barf in the streets tonite!
Moving to the D-side of the ball will be great. The rotations of DE's and DT's will be keeping them fresh all game, and more importantly, all season! If Tubby plays....(more barf)..pure sick. Lo-Jack isn't a phreak, just another really solid DE, and Red is HUGE. Just think for a minute about a short yarage sitch with Tubby and Red crushing th middle, Kearny and Lo-Jack coming round the corners, with Lofa, Hill, and Pete hitting the gaps.. barrrrrffff. This season is going to be SICKKKKK!!!

Gravatar Whats up with barf
