Schein is an idiot, all he does toot his horn about this guy and that guy and tries to do it with flare. I think he worked for T.G.I. Fridays before he went to radio. I stopped listening to that show about 3 months ago. P.K. and T. Rock is the only show that is actually insightful. No more Cowboys please, we have enough soul clensing to do with Jones.
I tend to agree with you about Schein, but I really like Tim Hasselbeck. Maybe it is voice recognition or something. Plus, Schein and the Blitz get all the top, and are way better at doing interviews.
PK and TROCK are defintely the most football knowledgeable. Either way, I will listen to football talk over just about everything else. Anytime I try KJR these days it is just depressing Mariners death watch stuff.
Why the hell would any fans with half a brain want a guy like Glenn on our team?! Best of all, people like this get paid to talk about this kind of s#*t on the radio. I'm pretty sure I could do a better job than Schein.
I like how you called the young WR's "The Big Four". I was thinking "The Four Young Unknowns". I say that in a good way of course, I hope they come out of nowhere and rock the NFL this year.
I love PK and T-ROCK. I'm sure this has nothing to do with the fact that they seem to like me as well. I have learned more from those two in a month or so than I did watching football for a frightening amount of years.
I don't care for Tim Hasselbeck's wife, so I tend to avoid that program.
In the meantime, uh, sorry, Dallas, we don't need him. If we're getting a veteran WR, there's got to be someone that's going to be able to contribute from Day One, and that guy isn't it.

Hey Michael,
I had a weird idea: What about using Owen Schmitt as a linebacker.
We are weak there, and if he could get some training on that side of the ball it would help his overall ST presence, but maybe, just maybe, he could become a backup and maybe a starting linebacker for us.
Some guys are capable of changing positions once they get in the pros. The more I look at this guys athleticism, his smash-mouth attitude, his "You can't beat me" playing style, etc. just tell me that this guy could be worth a lot. Our defense and offense have often been classified as "finesse", but the energy he brings could bring the anger back that we need a bit of. Getting him reps in that division would only pay dividends it seems. At the very least he learns how to tackle like a pro.
the thing you guys are failing to realize is that Glenn is a premier receiver. Just because we have a lot of young guys doesn't mean Glenn wouldn't fit in here....

pat, Tim Hasselbeck's wife is one of the most annoying people in media. I'd rather listen to Cris Collinsworth, and I hates me some Cris Collinsworth.

micro break my foot, Dallas is using that as an excuse to lock him up with an injury clause. That injury won't hinder him at all. he will be ready long before Branch will be.
Strategerie: do you even know who Terry Glenn is? Do you know how good that guy really is? I don't think so, otherwise you would be singing a different tune.
how are we weak at linebacker? You don't seem smart enough to realize that we are strong at linebacker. owen is a fullback don't make it seem like he can just switch sides of the ball and contribute....
Lacking depth at a position and being weak at a position are totally different things.

I doubt you will find many football fans that agree with you that Glenn is a "premier" WR. In addition to SERIOUS injury concerns, he simply does not fit the offense we run. If the FO was likely to consider bringing in a guy like Glenn at this point in his career, then they might as well have kept D-Jack.
I wish I was Glenn, he made 1.25 million per catch last season. That's a sweet deal...
He is not going to be a premier WR in the near future... Oh wait he was born in 74, not 84... He had some good stats, but not great.
He has played in 137 games out of over 200 possible for him. So that would be around 70 percent of games.
Conversely he DID have a few 1000 yard seasons only 2 in succession was 05-06. 2007 he played exactly 1 playoff game. I think he also played 1 regular season game. Without the knee problem he would still be a threat, but not a premier WR

Nick... You have been reading and commenting for a while, so I am not going to ban you, but i will give you a reminder of whats up.
1) No Swearing!!! Just use Symbols for something like S#*T. I have talked to numerous people who share this blog with there kids.
2) Do not attack other readers. You are free to point out flaws in someones argument or thinking, but everybody has the right to be respected. If you don't like somebodies comments, ignore them or debate them, but calling them names or insulting them will get u tossed.
