He always seems to have an injury here and there and seems to miss a game or two each year because of it. It'd be nice to have a guy like that play year-to-year anyways.
Of course I'd rather have him locked up long term, but that's the way it goes... Ruskell holds the trump card (franchise tag) so I'm not too worried about it.
Signing Tatupu does leave the A card in Ruskell's hand, asuming we think he is worth using the tag on.
we could leverage his injuries against him with the aid of the franchise tag. he might not want to play a franchise year with his history of injuries and sign a fair deal without breaking the bank. i want leroy around, but the injuries always have to be in the back of your mind.

Even If he decides to go, Timmy will get him replaced with something as good or better...
Hill is a very underrated player in my eyes. We lose a lot of games when he doesnt play. He gets injured playing hard and punishing the other team. I hope we can keep him around for at least a few more years.
Not only is Mr. Hill under-rated, he is under-utilized in the defense. I have always believed he should be utilized in blitz packages far more than he is.
