If something isnt done to stop these escalating salaries, its all gonna come to an end...
There isnt room for more than one professional football league. I see the end coming very soon...
Not sure it was an ethical issue as much as it was an half hearted attempt to discourage high rookie salaries.
Take a deep breath Slave, if the NBA has survived those absurd max contracts, the NFL isn't going any where soon.
The only reason the salary cap goes up every year, is because the league wide revenue goes up every year. Hence more money. The players are essentially entertainers. If the owners were to get rich on their backs with out paying them fairly it would be paramount to slavery. They sacrifice their bodies and a long life for this game, and our amusement. They earn their money.
It will all be OK, one little hold out and it seems the world is going to end around year. Jeeeez.
