Cant win without a good QB. Warner is old and has cement in his shoes + a track record for injuries. Matt is probably going to mess himself during the seahawks game when he gets a look at Big Red coming up the middle and has a flashback to his shoulders date with the turf last year.
Honeslty, the last time I saw a coach play 2 quarterbacks in the same game consistantly and not just for gimic plays ( I hate you steelers) was in UW's hay day with Billy Joe & Brunell spliting time. Well, this isnt the Pac-10.
Besides thier recievers you do have to give props to Levi Brown though. Everyone thought Kerney was going to take him to school last year and ended up being a non-factor.
Warner was an MVP and can still sling the rock if he has time. Could go 9-7 but most likely the reverse of that.
The Cards are the only team in the West to have a chance to knock off the Seahawks as division champs. They will have to play over their heads to do it though in my opinion.
The two games against them this season are critical wins for us. I wouldn't want the division title to come down to the last game in Arizona with our penchant for blowing away games. They gave us some worries last season and with an easier schedule than us this year could pose the same problems.
Of all our NFC West opponents, these are the guys that have the most stable program with the least holes and best coaching therefore giving them the best chance of having a good season and putting pressure on us to maintain our lead in the division.
San Francisco can do us a big favor again this year by knocking them off early in the season and make them chase us again. I really believe that we will have a good chance of sweeping the division again this year but the fly in the ointment is more likely than not the Cardinals. We can't take them lightly like we did last season.
If there is any team that can knock the Seahawks off the NFC WEST pedestal it would be STL. If Jackson, Holt, Bulger, Little etc... stay healthy than we have got some good competition with the RAMS.
Cards are not going to be able to get a good start going with Matt "the beer bong holder" Leinart at the helm, or Warner for that matter. There is no way the cards will even compete with us for the NFC W title...
