Good for the Bucs. Now when we play them this year our defense can light Jerramy up. I hope he crosses the middle so Tatupu can put a hurting on him....

A little off topic...but Michael sometimes this site is the only highlight of my day!! Don't get me wrong most of my days are great, but I know when I come here I will either be well-informed or get a good laugh..either of which are good in my book...I used to feel sorry for Jerramy Stevens...as a teacher when I see someone with great potential BLOW IT big time it feels like a sad waste of a human being and something, in my profession, I try to prevent every day. However, with that said, this guy has had more opportunities than your average kid to make something great out of himself and he just can't find his way out AND there clearly seems like there is no effort on his part...Jerramy is one big ASSCLOWN!!

I hear ya hawksgal (about this awesome site and about being a teacher who gets sick of missed opportunities and life lessons... Stevens is an ASSCLOWN).

Also off topic, Michael, but are you still thinking of a SA tailgate party before home games? Mainly I ask is because of a home NFC Championship Game. Think you'd make it to Seattle for that? I'd be all in for getting crazy and as loud as possible for that game (when the Cowboys are on offense at least).

Hawksgal...
Glad the site puts a smile on your face!
Teaching is a very hard, and under appreciated job. To all those who do it right, and care about shaping those they teach, I salute you. The blog is the least that i can do.
I teach lower level math, and tutor math at my school. It is frustrating sometimes, but tell myself it is important, especially because I like math and many hate it, so I can just turn one persons mind.... Oh crap, I am destined to teach aren't I

Ha!! My 7th grade Social Studies teacher made me want to go into teaching...I teach Highschool and really can't imagine myself doing anything else...I have a cousin who has a job she hates but makes a ton of money...I have a job I love but make very little...I'd rather have my life than hers!
On to the tailgating, I am a season ticket holder....not much of a drinker...I kind of like to remember the games, but I am social and would love to have some tailgating parties before games. If I can hang out with people who love the Hawks as much as I do (my family does think I'm crazy!) then I'm all for it...I am a pretty good planner as well, I am the team mom for my son's football team so if you need a contact here I'd volunteer for it! :0)

No way I'd ever want to hammer too many beers before a Seahawks home game (even if it was to go to the SB). I'm too far away to want to forget anything. After the game though... if they make it to the SB...

Jerramy Stevens had one of the brightest careers possible when drafted by the Seahawks. He was unstoppable in college and with hard work and good coaching there was no reason to believe that he wouldn't become the same type of player in the pro's. He could have become an all pro and signed a rich 2nd contract.
Instead, he blew it all because he can't keep his nasty self in check. Not even for fame and fortune. What a putz! I defended him right up to the time he was let go by Ruskell but after the Arizona thing coupled with all the stories that came out about how he lived his personal life and how he terrorized his neighbors, all I can say is, whatever happens is his own making. I'm really glad he's not here anymore although I've missed his presence on the team the last couple of years when we didn't have a decent TE but not him personally.
I do hope he finds some way to make amends for all those he hurt and maybe finds himself along the way. If he doesn't, all the hurt that comes his way is pure karma. Same for Tampa Bay.

Haha! Jerramy Stevens, Kellen Winslow Jr. and Tank Johnson were all together at REHAB, a club in Vegas at the Hardrock hotel/casino over memorial weekend.
Birds of the same feather, flock together.

Hawskgal, I'll volunteer to help with the tailgate planning, too. I'm currently planning a professional conference, but that'll be over in the first part of October.
We'll have fun, won't we?

Why did we draft this turd in the first place, knowing his extensive history and admitting to rape?

I love how Florio (though he is a dipshit) referred to Stevens in his latest post:
as a "turd extraordinnaire".
I love it! pure poetry!
Stevens deserves to catch Syphilus, lose his job, and have to stock grocery store shelves for eternity...he is the Assclown of all Assclowns...
