I think hating Jackman as Wolverine is some sort of acid test; it's what separates the I-wish-Gene-Hackman-hadn't-camped-up-Luthor from the no-organic-webshooters types. Hating Jackman means you know Wolverine is supposed to be SHORT, which Hollywood DOESN'T, so you're SMARTER and your milkshake is better and all that. |

The SECRET SPIDER-MAN guy was walking around the con on Sunday afternoon screaming (or maybe he was using a megaphone, I can't remember) about how Hollywood has produced crap like X-MEN and SPIDER-MAN. And nobody bothered to pity the soul long enough to point out that those two movies were actually GOOD. And that he looked more silly in that costume than Matt Salinger in the rubber-eared CapAm costume... |
