I'd prefer Chucky vs Leprechaun: Clash of the Tiny Titans.

"but just because comic fans think it looks good, doesn't mean the world at large is going to see it the same way."

When it comes to style it has the chops from the look of the footage, but I'm not sure the stories will hold up. Nothing to do, but wait and see.

"(Or maybe Meltzer was just trying to make the friend's reference to the murderer gender-neutral, which may be a clue in and of itself.)"

A lot of people consistently use plural pronouns as gender-neutral singular pronouns even when they know the gender of the person they're referring to -- it's very strange. Although I find that when writers do it, it's often because the person in question is a female and the reader is supposed to be shocked by the eventual revelation of the character's gender.

Given the general nonsensical nature of the "clues" in IC ("The killer used a bowline, so he (she? they?) must be a boy scout, and there's only one supervillain who was a boy scout!"), though, I'm not sure it's even worth pondering what is and isn't a clue.

Damn i coulda sworn they were related, I have brought great dishonor to my name.

I had the same reaction to the Sin City footage as you did. I didn't want to rain on the enthusiam of those who are really into it, but I'm not terribly excited over it. But the footage really did pull off a lot more than I expected, and I was impressed.

I'm worried about how the stories are going to be combined, and the cast. Its a cast of 'names', but you can't say they were chosen for acting ability by and large...

Steven is actually being very polite in not mentioning that I practically threw Identity Crisis and yelled, "If it turns out Hal Jordan is using "they" as a singular pronoun to raise the tension and be unclear, I'll be furious!" It's possible some threats were uttered, too. I'm just glad he got to comment here before I could really go crazy in your comments and derail everything. Now instead you just get a meta-crazy comment.

Well, and now I realize that I was a little crazy anyway and gave away a spoiler you were hiding, Mike. Oops!

I'd pay cash money to see BACK TO THE FUTURE VS. BILL AND TED.

I'm a bit confused about Following Cerebus being announced everywhere as coming out this week. I got this in my last box from MailOrder Comics, which I got the first week in September, which means it had to ship sometime in August for them to have it.

I haven't actually read it (I'm really behind and trying to keep up with my students' papers), but I have had it in my possession for several weeks now.
