Crap-a-doodle I forgot to buy that Superman book. And then you tell me something like that is in it? Well, something to look forward to next week. |

Re: Green Lantern |

Fanboy screaming aside, Ron Marz really is one of the worst writers in comics. No matter what he's working on. |
|
I agree on the Marz, but I think it's on corporate owned characters. I originally ignored Crossgen because he was involved and then was pleasantly surprised at how good they were when I finally started reading them. Or maybe it isn't corporate owned that give him problems, maybe its just superheroes. But I've never liked any of his Green Lantern stuff, and I have always thought Hal Jordan was a wooden character (until he became Spectre -- I really liked that idea) |

Thanks for the reminder about the Back Issue magazine with Swamp Thing. I had totally forgot that was coming out. See what happens when you don't visit the comic store. |

To use that old chestnut, there are two reasons to read Tarot. And it comes out every other month. So there! |
|
I remain convinced that MYSTIC, which I got for free, was the most overpriced comic I've ever read. I had a feeling that Marz is really a computer, trotting out "relative killed" or "bad sister/good sister" for motivation and plot. |

This is sad. I get the Halloween issue of Back Issue and I see the Swamp Thing article and immediately I say "Hey, Mike Sterling's gonna wanna buy this." |
