I didn't realize Nova's recent pummeling in She-Hulk was a direct reference to this. Thanks!

I just thought that was one of Nova's powers, getting knocked into the next city by super-strong bad guys.

Mostly, I'm just stunned by the size of that fist. I mean, holy crap.

Why don't average people buy comics anymore?

Now *that's* a masturbatin' hand!

If I was that grossly deformed, I'd probably end up being a villain too.

There's a phrase in the artistic community: "Forced perspective."

No, that can't possibly explain this panel, but the phrase does exist. Just sayin'.

In addition, this guy can successfully flip off people who are MILES away.

There's an Eddie Campbell story which has a hilarious splash page where it looks like a guy has a hand that size, then later you see it's a giant kirbyesque power glove.

"I'm tired of these jokes about my giant hand. The first such incident occured in 1956..."

Look mom! I can draw a hand!

ha- - a pal just sent this old thing my way.

Being forced to draw characters like that are why I quickly exited New Warriors (that was my last issue). I can't recall Big Fist's real name, but I think his team mates had monikers like Cut and Dry, so he might be half od something lame like Hammer and Anvil or Punch and Judy.
