Happy birthday Madman Mike! |
Many happy returns, Mikester. |
Have a great day! (Damn, I remember buying that comic on the stands!) |
The story I heard was that the original purpose of the cover date was to tell newspaper stands when to take magazines and comics off the stand to return them. Any truth to that? |
Oh, and happy birthday and junk... |
Happy birthday. I know, where I was growing up at-least, the grocery/department stores always sold last months comics (so the date was fairly accurate) and the comic shops sold them on-time. I thought it maybe had something to do with that. |
Happy birthday, sir. |
In a comment we had to call, |
Happy birthday, pal! |
Happy birthday, good man! |
Many happy reprints, Mr Ruin! |

Happy birthday...now just what do you get the owner of the greatest comics blog in the mulitverse? |
