That's a truly heroic post, man.

Seriously, it's interesting to get your perspective on what sells/doesn't.

Same thing happened to me with those left-handed scissors when I was a kid! I can only use scissors right-handed now. And hey, same thing happened to my grandma, too -- lefty forced into being a righty. (That sounds like the set-up for a political joke.)

What is the general feeling on the new Batman cartoon anyway? Personally, while I don't find it aggressively awful, I do find it incredibly half-assed - there's no supporting cast beyond Alfred and these two cops who chase after Batman, any attempts at 'mysteries' have been lame (hmm, Firefly has attacked three engineering firms...could his objective be...industrial sabotage???), and all the episodes so far have been Villain of the Week stuff.

Oh yeah, and they made Mr. Freeze a common thug who got superpowers from a chase gone wrong. Come on! The whole point to his character is that he's been driven mad by tragedy! Geesh!

Anyway, I was just wondering if people's reactions have been similar to mine, since I've heard no buzz about it.

I'm reading "Wild Girl". Lovely lovely art, but the story, well... the last three issues have followed very similar structures with little-to-no plot movement, and now next issue's the last one... never good when the book feels like it's been spinning its wheels for half of its length...

Interestingly enough, Mike, Kurtz announces that he's going back to a more traditional format for the retailers' sake in THAT VERY ISSUE OF PVP! (and I'm glad too, 'cause I find landscape annoying).

And yep, this CABLE AND DEADPOOL guy is buying the book for Deadpool.

Unfortunately, like NEW THUNDERBOLTS, I'm the only one buying the book...

Along with the manhunter and daredevil there's this one too.

I kind of wish there was going to be some bizarre third option with regard to Ultimate Thor's origin, but whatever.

Quite like this take on the Question, he's just a crackpot, although I walked away with a few questions (heh) and I wondered if I'd just missed who Professor Rodor was. I continue to really enjoy Lois Lane in this series.

Noble Causes is some good stuff. The trades are well worth getting, though I like the format in the early single issues more. (Main story, backup story by new artists only slightly related to the main story.)

I started to worry when the book came out in black-and-white, but sales picked up enough to make it an ongoing monthly.

Every once in a while I debate dropping all the Ultimate titles and waiting for the trade. Though Ultimate Spider-Man has been getting on my nerves lately. Not sure if I can point to specifics, though.

Why would Nick Fury bother to press his gun against Wolverine's temple? He knows damn well it would only cause Wolverine superficial flesh injury.
