Did you get the Mindhunters trailer too? That one also had me laughing out loud.

I think that's the one where Dorian said, "yeah, like the killer isn't Christian Slater."

Not only that, it's the second time in a row Miller's be taken out with a projectile through the head.

Ever read that "Man With Pen in Head" story? I wonder how Mark Steven Johnson felt about it, knowing Miller was really that bitter.

I'm wondering if Mindhunters is a movie that only exists as a trailer, as some kind of experimental short-film.

Mindhunters has a secret twist ending. Turns out LL Cool J's the killer because he's really Luke Cage, Crazy Black Man.

I can't even believe I'm going to write this, but: Hartigan does mention in voiceover that the stench of the Yellow Bastard seemed to follow them back to the motel, and wouldn't wash away.

I swear, every time I've seen a movie in that theater for the last two years they've shown that Mindhunters trailer.

I often go to see blockbusters on Monday nights, and it's always sparsely attended. And I live in a big city too. Doesn't (necessarily) bode anything.

I didn't even know about the House of Wax remake until just now, so I looked it up on IMDB.

Paris Hilton and two former Rory Gilmore love interests? *shudder* The strange whirring sound you hear is Vincent Price spinning in his grave.

No need to be ashamed of thinking the Star Wars trailer was good: Lucas has consistently made spectacular use of the 2 minute montage to pimp the prequels.

Take it from someone who's worked in two theatres: Monday nights are the absolute slowest night of the week.

So, WHY can't Collins talk about comics and politics? Did he take some flack from his bosses at Wizard, or what?

hey, Miller died in Robocop 2 too!

Yes he did, he went splodey!

"hey, Miller died in Robocop 2 too!"

Too bad he wrote the script first.

Damn, beaten to the punch. Yeah, after seeing it two days in a row, I picked up on the "his stench follows us all the way to the motel" line. It's there, doesn't really explain much...you can't see a yellow guy in the back seat?, but it's there.

Skipped everything after "solid B" cuz I don't want to read any spoilers. But a "B"? Really? Huh.

I just saw Sin City tonight, and though I'm a little more forgving of the make-up and music, I generally agree with your comments. How about that Hitchhicker's trailer, though? Anyone?

Richard/Ken - I only noted the lack of audience because our local theatre tends to pack 'em in on the blockbusters even during the week. At least, that's been my experience.

Will - The Star Wars trailer did look interesting, but oh so busy. Every square inch of screen is filled with somebody doing something.

Chasdom - I don't think it's flak so much as conflict of interest.

Steve - alas, no Hitchhiker's trailer for us. We must have been bad, and punished accordingly.

Mindhunters is VERY REAL.

Slater is NOT the killer (trust me on this... he's not).

The film is actually pretty fun, for what it is. Yes, I really already saw it. That's what the internet was invented for right?

Ya know I saw Episode III too...no, seriously, I did.

and finally SENSIBLE qualms on Sin City for once! Congrats Mike.

Then Christian Slater dies? HAPPY ENDING!
