Awwww...for me? I was actually planning to do something similar to this but never got around to it. I've been rereading his short lived DC series lately. |
And you forgot to link up my Blue Beetle sketches. Around the cons I was known as the Blue Beetle guy. |

I could have sworn the blue beatle had a secret powers figure. Guess I'm wrong. |
I heard he's pregnant with Federline's baby. At least, that's what I heard. |
You know, I read the first issue of that mid-80s series and it wasn't half bad. Is the rest of the series interesting? |
I love the Blue Beetle and one of my favorite comics is the 1981 CHARLTON BULLSEYE #1 (which is a weak comic, but has a ton of sentimental value). |
Dan - I only read the first few issues of DC's BB revival...but what I read was good old-fashioned superhero adventure. |
That's exactly what it is. It had some interesting villians with some very uninspiring names like Firefist. Dr. Alchemy shows up for a while too. I'm enjoying it so far. |
The first issue had some nifty art from Paris Cullins. Whatever happened to that guy? |
Blue Beetle was a typical mid-eighties DC title from just before everything went dark. Written by Len Wein, art by Paris Cullins and others. Some mildly angsty soap opera around Ted Kord and his employees and lover, some neat villians, a dash of subplots that were on the boil for too long, some senseless interruptions by mega crossovers. |
