Pathfinder Jr.? Sorry Mike, despite your clear instruction I have to ask. The origin of that name is now the number two mystery in my life, particularly the junior part (were you a sidekick?). The number one mystery remains, of course, who is Chalk?

Just to let you know I'm not taking the higher moral ground, my CB "handle" (if I'm recalling the terminology coreectly) was lamely taken from the name of an apartment complex my uncle was driving past when he was showing me his new CB. All those comics and the best my imagination could do was "Golf View" or some such. I'm ashamed at so many levels.

H - the origin is sad, boring, yet absolutely true. I took the name "Pathfinder Jr." because my dad's handle was "Pathfinder." Why he was called "Pathfinder," you'll have to ask him.

My site has been on life support for the better part of the year now. Hopefully it'll come around again, things kinda went downhill when I lost my cushy job and had to get another one. We'll see how things go. I'm thankful for all the blogging mainstays out there like you, Dorian, Neil, and a few others.
