Re: THE FANTASTIC FOUR |

Does Marvel even publish monthly comic book magazines anymore? I thought they only published serializations of graphic novels. |
Augie - That's fair enough...I don't know for sure who's responsible for the delays, but I should note that Marvel's books written by the big name Hollywood folk (JMS, Joss Whedon, Kevin Smith) have all had lateness problems. JMS' books have had the fewest delays, true (I think his Spidey books have been all more or less on time, so maybe it is the FF artist), but there's plenty of precedent for thinking the showbiz guys are behind the late shipping. That idea didn't come from nowhere! |

Ethan Van Sciver, horrendously late? I am shocked, I am SHOCKED! |
I remember a cartoon in an ancient issue of COMIC COLLECTOR about that ELFQUEST issue and the nerdly fun that can be had with the handle opening in comics boxes. Sterling, find that issue and scan the strip immediately! |
Milo - I remembered that cartoon, but couldn't remember where it originally ran. I'll scour the Archives and see if I can track it down! |
considering the sort of things that may poke through that little cardboard window in our boxes of adult back issues, |
Sarah - Glad someone noticed that. |
There was a cartoon about that issue of ELFQUEST in an issue of Krause's COMICS COLLECTOR in the mid-80s. If you don't have it handy, I could see about scanning it for you. |

I need GL. I need the rest of them... Curse you DC!!!! |
Have you considered the possibility that Supergirl and Green Lantern are intentionally late in order to coordinate their release with Infinite Crisis continuity? Maybe if they came out on their regular shipping date, the sequence of stories would end up in the wrong order. Am I right? |

Forget Archie's "Chick" nickname; check out that snazzy slingshot! |
