In my homeland of Ayrshire, Ghost Rider was referred to as "Guest Rider" in the early 90s. I still think of him as Guest Rider. |

Secret Defenders - wow, that was a bad book. I remember being pretty excited that Marvel was going to do a new Defenders book, and then they brought out Secret Defenders - sigh. |
Hi, X-Factor! |
Why is the logo for Secret Defenders look like a basketball? Was the "secret" that they were the Harlem Globetrotters in disguise? |
Ian, clearly your education has been lacking, if you are unable to recognize the window of Doc Strange's swinging Greenwhich Village townhouse! |
"well, I was showing these to the other guys at the store, and one of my customers commented that nowadays, we'd find more use for a shelf-talker that read "This issue NOT guest-starring Wolverine."" |
I've read my fair share of Dr. Strange comics but don't remeber that odd piece of architecture. I guess Stephen Strange msut have spent sometime in the ABA. |
That collection of shelf-talkers was awesome. Especially that Secret Wars 2 tie in one. |
Wow, Electric Warrior! This is the first time I've seen someone reference it online. It was a pretty cool book. I bought the whole series out of a back issue box years ago after just flipping through the first issue. DC really put out a lot of interesting things in the 80s. Do you remember Lords of the Ultra Realm? Ha! |
James - Smack Ian with that Essential Dr. Strange, would ya? |
I still have a complete set of Secret Wars II tie-ins. Even the unofficial ones. And the joke ones. And the issue of Infinity Gauntley where the Vision looks at a picture of the Beyonder for one panel. |
