Mike probably didn't use the Time Bandits. Shadowhawk #1 had that cardstock cover which makes them sturdier for using as packing material. Mike probably still has a stack of them he keeps around for that purpose.

I like to think that Composite Swamp Thing, like Composite Superman, has a combination name as well. He took the first part of Swamp Thing's name, and the second part of Man-Thing's name. Batman and Man-Thing just got a raw deal.
