Dave Campbell and Chris Sims - THE SAME PERSON?

Here's how you tell the difference: Chris uses alt text on his images. Also, one of them has a bigger penis. It's up to them to decide which.

Okay "The Punisher And Other Positive Gay Role Models" - freaking hilarious! Except having a Frank Castle who can't deal with "those feelings" would actually make an okay Punisher story wouldn't it?

Hee hee. Well, actually that one about the '60's television version of Batman is actually true. *snicker*

You wanna start controversy...simply write a long post about how Marvel comics are better than DC and that all DC comics suck. Since it appears that the comics blogsphere is made up of only lovers of DC comics, you should get repeatedly beaten down, linked to, and made fun of for even thinking about saying that. Come'on...it'll be fun.

Oooooh... I like #7...

Heh. "Comics Journalism."

That phrase makes me chuckle.

How about: "Civil War: How Its Effects Will Be Permanent Across the Marvel Universe"?

If the Punisher were gay he'd change his name to Frank Château

Big dick = David Campbell

Strangers in Paradise & Sandman - Pretty Much The Only Titles Female Comic Readers Need or Want

Sigh, why must this simpleminded stereotyping continue? Women also enjoy Y: The Last Man. Get into the 21st century, Sterling.

I vote for: 'The Punisher And Other Positive Gay Role Models'. Be sure to cross-reference Gregg Araki flicks as well.

Do the one about the 60's TV show. A post to that effect lingers in the back of my mind, but never quite makes it out. I'm sure you'd do a better job of it than me anyway.

I vote for
The '60s Batman TV Show: More of A Faithful Adaptation Than You Folks Are Willing to Admit

I mean if you think about it, Batman never used a gun, and he used his sleuthing skills to solve the crimes just like he always should have. Even though it was blatently obvious and overly cheesey, it was enough to entice my three-year-old brain when I first got hooked on to re-runs. I learned a lot from that show.

How about Ellison sues Groth - whose side are you on?

Ellison vs. Groth? I'm on the side of the guy who isn't a total and complete ass.

Oh, wait...

How about an open forum into WHY Wolverine's striving to surpress his homosexuality leads to violent and antisocial behavior?

And why he likes to cuddle up in footsie-jammies with underage x-girls, who have seen thru his fake tough-guy exterior to see and accept the physically-uncomfortable girlie-man who collected "Hello Kitty" eclectica during his time in Japan?

Discuss.

"I Don't Want You Linking to My Site..." isn't nearly played out. There's months worth of dead horse beating to be had on that one.

Or I'm just slow on the uptake, you choose.

The Big Question in Comics Journalism: Reprinting The Whole Press Release or Just Part of It

To help your flaming along, this is a fair question. Not naming names, but 90% of the comic personality interviews I read and hear pretty much amount to ridiculously enthusiastic fellatio on part of the interviewer.

Dave Campbell and Chris Sims - THE SAME PERSON?

If you really want a debate, you could ask who's funnier.

I think this one's got some life in it :

The Effects of X-Men Readers Accidentally Being Exposed to Quality During Morrison's Run on The Title

giv'er a shot!

Dave Campbell and Chris Sims - THE SAME PERSON?

No, just the same jokes.

Sally P. - Yeah, I've actually made that argument once or twice on my site, but everybody looks at me like I'm crazy.

Christopher - One, I don't see that bias -- people call out DC on crap books all the time -- and two, you've got a weblog...you be the big pro-Marvel guy!

Mark F. - Oh, probably, but it begins to feel like "piling on" after a while!

David C. - That's because nobody wants to lose access to the Big Two (or Four or Five, depending on how generous you are) by accidentally offending someone. And since most comic news sources are small and easily replaced by other sources, they all play ball with the big companies. The only dominant comics news source is Wizard, which can get away with biting the hands that feed it, since the companies need Wizard to reach that particular demographic they can't otherwise advertise to. ...Whoops, sorry, got serious for a moment.

The Effects of X-Men Readers Accidentally Being Exposed to Quality During Morrison's Run on The Title.

Oh c'mon... we all knew what happened.

Heads exploded.
