All-Star Batman ("Genius comic, unappreciated in its own time")...they misspell Spider-Man

The above sounds like it's about to segue into a critical snark and it truly isn't; I genuinely am wondering this.

Mike, you're the go-to guy for all things ASBARTBW, so let me ask you: is the title spelled All Star or All-Star?

There's a star in place of a hyphen on the cover of the book, but I don't know if that actually technically does count as a hyphen. What does the indicia say?

The crow wasn't THAT bad. Why do you think it was accidental?

EC compilations are always good.

'All-Star Batman ("Genius comic, unappreciated in its own time"), Skateman ("AHHH! MY EYES!")'

I think that you flipped these two descriptions around, didn't you?

Oh, and the "AHHH! MY EYES!" comment was pretty much my reaction to that image of female Sleestaks. You are a horrible, horrible human being Mr. Sterling.

Female sleestaks make me feel all wrong inside ...

That writer knows piss-all about what makes a good anthology series.

All Star Batman and Robin: "Liked by only one, slightly crazed comics retailer in California who, let's be honest, hits the sauce a little too much."

Batman keeps "equipment" in his codpiece? Well...I always assumed that was where his little Bat-pole was, but apparently there's all KINDS of stuff in there. Wonder how the criminals feel about that?

Bully - According to the indicia, it's All Star Batman & Robin, The Boy Wonder. No hyphen, one comma.

Justin - Re: The Crow: just yankin' people's chains, is all.

Casper the Friendly Ghost (why we should all be excited about death)?

Night Nurse - (How chronic pickle farts can help you find miss "right now")

....say it out loud....pickle farts...just rolls off the tongue

US1: Ahead of its time tongue-in-cheek trucking adventure.

Earth-X: All the Celestials, none of the annoying excitement or interest.

Cerebus #300: Hey, it got there, or at least it got somewhere. (Alternatively, as author to character, so audience to author.)

Howard the Duck: Poultry, self-analysis, social commentary, and Gene Colan. Widely considered emblematic of the '70s.

According to the CBR Blog's Urban Legends entries, Liefeld's art on Hawk and Dove isn't as good as it seems to be, as Karl Kessel claims a fair a mount it it was cut up and reworked to make it more coherent.
