I live in the UK and while any generality about an entire people is wrong, I do have to say there is something about brits being pretty free with the whole sex and partnership/marriage fidelity thing. After a long time I realised this was so because, actually, the brits are not that sexual or passionate anyways. So, for them, to swap wives or girlfriends or whatever, is not the big deal that it is for the rest of us because they never really get that worked up about anyone in the first place.
