These talented singers basically get pimped out and begin a life that is totally FAKE because it's who their labels make them be. She's not saying anything that most artists don't acutally really feel. She's just one of the few who had the balls to say it. Though I don't own any of her music, I'd say she's absolutely correct. Half of the 'stars' that become idolized (whether in music or movies) are just a figment of our imagination. Who they REALLY are is only seen to their friends..and it's not their fault.

I think the rant is probably justified, but shutting down the comments is a big mistake. I used to moderate the comments/forum for a formerly famous musician and once she shut it down, her concert ticket and record sales really suffered. She'd be better off having censorship at the site than totally shutting it down.
Are you serious.....the number one rule of being a celebrity is to not read what people say about you! In addition, she has depression. Maybe she needs to take her meds. She says nothing has come out of it, and then says well my husband and a bandmate.....those sound like good things to me. There are many artists out there who would give anything to be in her shoes, and have what she has been given (an opportunity to work with Santana....Hello?).
