Fmouie - Actually, no. If you create a hotmail email account, it should all be there unless you set up spam blockers for that account. It will also lend you another level of privacy.
Another way to do it would be to go to gravatar.com and try to login with your original username/password and see if it recognizes that. If it does, you're on board, and we can go from there.
p.s. If you login to gravatar and you get a page that says "you no longer have access to this page," JUST LOGIN AGAIN, and you may come up a winner the second time.
