Probably what's happening is that Gwyneth only plays music that she herself likes, so the poor kid has to steer her mom to the less annoying songs. And if the kid is asking for "Hung Up" then you gotta wonder what other crap Gwyneth listens to.
If she was really an Uber-Mommy, she'd be playing The Wiggles for Apple. The Wiggles are the shit for the preschool crowd. Trying to get Wiggles live show tickets is harder than getting tickets to the Superbowl.

Everytime I've heard Gwyneth talk about her daughter, it is music-related. She was on Conan some months back saying that if she sings a note to Apple, Apple will sing it back to her on the same pitch. She also said that when she's in the car and the radio is on, and a Coldplay song comes on, Apple will say "Daddy." I wonder if that's because Apple is familiar with the entire Coldplay catalogue, or because all of their songs sound the same ...
