hmmmm- It's on the Noggin kiddie channel here in the U.S., which we get on satellite or cable. Noggin turns into a teeny-bopper channel at night called "The N". The channel is really dorkass, but Degrassi is hot shit.

I work in downtown Toronto where they shoot the show. One day I was on my way home and that chick was dressed like the biggest whore wearing less then a bra. At first I thought it might be for the show. I was wrong, she was just skanked up.
She was also at an Oasis show that I went to in the summer, small world.

The thing that makes the character of Paige interesting is if you really look at her she's not all that hot, but she thinks she's hot and that attitude has gotten her far in the popularity contest. Very typical for junior high and high school(and adult life too, to some extent).

Okay, what the hell? She is so ugly! Not only that, but she is a skanky bitch on Degrassi who tries to "reach out" to that girl Ellie who cuts herself, when you know she really only wants to get credit for helping make Ellie "better." And what is up with Degrassi? Good show, but they claim to relate to all these teens...um, not really. How many kids have school shootings, gay parents, bipolar, are drug dealers, try to kill themselves, cut themselves, or (in Paige's case) are slutty hoes who think they're all that? Exactly. Not many!
Well at least they're reaching out to somebody. Yea I don't have those problems in my life but I don't wanna watch some stupid show with all pretty people talking on their phones and making straight A's and shit.

Paige sooo isn't that cute, but Degrassi kicks ass. Plus, the school does relate to some aspects of the school I went to in dealing with issues such as rape, teen pregnancy, gays and death. Although it is overdramatic, it's what I love about it!

People really need to see the original Degrassi. Get the Canadian channel called SHOWCASE. It's way better than the original. Better acting, plus who doesn't love the '80s. I can't watch the new one at 19, but for whatever reason I can watch the original. Even the junior high show.
