I find myself carrying my son (he's 3 and a half) a lot more than I carried my duaghter. They just grow so fast. I can't even LIFT my daughter anymore so I try to savor my son's "smallness" as long as I can. But he's not carried for long periods of time. He walks or is in a stroller at the mall or at events. But I don't mind carrying him into the grocery store or into preschool, though.
