I am not a Tom fan, but I think she is pregnant. I carried high, right under the boobs, like that too. My son was 8lbs 14oz. He dropped the last two weeks and I was able to breath again. Every pregnancy is different.

I carried like this - right up into my sternum. And depending on the position of the baby, your stomach *can* look square. Especially if a leg is being stretched. That baby hasn't dropped yet - once it does, flying would be an absolute no-no.
And I was wondering the same thing - if she's having an outbreak, and it's migrated down south, how can she have a medicine-free birth? They'll always take the child via c/s during an outbreak.

I flew on from LA to NY in my 8th month of pregnancy. Unless you have some kind of complications or a blood clotting disorder, there is nothing inherently dangerous about traveling late in your pregnancy. The only problem is that airlines don't want you to go into labor mid air, forcing them to land elsewhere and delay the flight. To them, time is money, and this is solely a convenience and money issue. The cabins are pressurized, and there is really no danger to the baby from simply flying.

Ok, I'm a dental science teacher, let me clear up the whole herpes thing. Straight up oral herpes are called HSV1 and are contagious only to other peoples mouths. You can not transmit HSV1 to the genital area. Genital herpes are called HSV2 and can be transmitted from genital to genital contact or genital to mouth contact. The typical oral cold sore is HSV1 and most everyone will get these at some point in their lives. Chicken pox and shingles are also a type of herpes, but different than the oral and genital types.
