For all the pro-life politicians say about the fight to ban all abortions, the cynic in me believes that Bush will not ban all abortions. I think it's used to deflect attention away from stances they take on other issues that may not be as popular with voters. I think they need to "keep the fight" going to win votes and get their people into office to achieve other aspects of their agenda.
