As an interviewer on the red carpet, he should not have been having his way and feeling up and down on people. It was inappropriate. It wasn't funny. It was ridiculous. And just because he's a fashion designer doesn't mean it's OK for him to touch and feel and fondle just because he's gay and he makes dresses. She wasn't standing in his studio, it was the red carpet! It was wrong and inappropriate.
I keep emphasizing the fact that it was inappropriate because so many people believe things like this are "no big deal" in today's world but just because someone is in the public spotlight doesn't mean they're any less human.

The "starting his career" comment was specifically aimed at the fact that Isaac was starting as a new Red Carpet interviewer for E! It was his first outing in that capacity.

Issac was just having a good time. He said on Access Hollywood (after he was interrogated relentlessy by that British guy) that he was feeling the fabric of her dress, and he was trying to discern whether there was a built- in bra in there. Quite feasibly (considering he IS a fashion designer) he was.
Scarlett needs to get over herself and take it in stride. I think she felt compelled to comment because everyone ELSE on tv made such a big deal about it... Particularly hetero men who were envious.
