Gravatar Wish I was doing that with her.

Gravatar who the hell is that?! damn she's got a great rack

Gravatar Is that Xena, Warrior Princess? So maternal.

Gravatar i once read that kissing gets its origins from breastfeeding. it's some kind of innate thing that starts out as sucking your moms boob to making out in the garage...

Gravatar Is this one of KFed's bitches nursing yet another of his cheeto spawn?

Gravatar AGREED! Breast is best!

It kept my boobs in excellent shape!

They are divine, and REAL!

Gravatar So she was the poster mom for "It's ok to breastfeed with implants"?

Gravatar Doubt that baby's getting ANY milk! What do you wanna bet she just pushed his face up to her implants to make a buck?!

bahahahahaha

Gravatar I think Lucy Lawless is pretty. And what legs!

Gravatar I thought same thing, nice legs.

Gravatar Xena breast feeds? That just popped my bubble. I thought celeb chicks employed wet nurses for that.

Gravatar It'd be cool if she was doing that with her Warrior Princess outfit on. lol

Gravatar i don't mean to be gross, and, being male this is something i don't have to worry about, but if a gooey, mushy baby mouth went on my nipple and started sucking and licking...i feel like i might get a little...you know...aroused.

Gravatar Tim, I always wondered the same thing, but I guess the "maternal" instinct takes over, eradictaing any sorta "urgin's"

Gravatar uh....................

Gravatar Uh, Tim...some women have been known to have orgasms while breastfeeding...just no one I know.

Gravatar heartsflowers.. are you serious? I have never heard that... must be something that no one ever talks about... I must ask my baby havin' friends. On topic.. how old is this pic?

Gravatar ok, i'm glad i'm not the only one to think of this. i was feeling a little bit jacko-pedo-weirdo.

Gravatar Uh, Tim...some women have been known to have orgasms while breastfeeding...just no one I know.
heartsflowers | 03.15.06 - 5:54 pm | #

^^Heard that too, but it never happened to me, either.

Gravatar Prophecy...I was a breastfeedin' fool...so I read anything and everything on the subject...yeah, it isn't really talked about, but one no-nonsense doctor wrote about it and said, "If it happens, consider yourself lucky!"

Wish I could find the article...and no, it didn't happen to me...DAMN!

In fact, it is not talked about because one woman experienced it, told her family doc, and he reported the poor woman to Child Protective Services!! Bastard!!

Gravatar Nope, not one orgo while breastfeeding. And that mushy baby mouth sucks HARD, nuthin "mushy" about it, or sexual.......just is what it is and that is well....un-explainable.

Gravatar god, WEIRD!
if i were a mother and i had an orgasm because of my infant child sucking on my boobie, i would need therapy. i'd probably immediately let angelina jolie adopt my child.

Gravatar Wow, that's kinda weird about women having orgasms while breastfeeding...although it makes sense. Still, I would think that you would have to let your mind go to a pretty perverted place to let that happen. No?

Gravatar It does make perfect sense but all I've ever heard is that breastfeeding kinda hurts! Now I have something else to worry about if I ever have kids... Thanks Tim....

Gravatar Naaa...don't worry, be happy!

I think it is a pretty rare occurence, and one should not feel strange about it...breastfeeding IS extremely pleasurable physically, but for me it was all bound up in a maternal, in-love-with-your-baby kind of way.

Gravatar heartsflowers... sounds good to me! but what I've always wondered is when does it happen that women all of a sudden feel free to show their boobs in a public place while breatsfeeding, I have a friend who breastfed with her Dad sitting on the couch next to her... that shit weirded me out!

Gravatar I breastfed two babies and I gotta tell ya, it mostly just HURTS. Especially at first. Not so much later, but it's definitely NOT a sexual feeling ... at least in my case or any of the other moms I know. That baby means business and is serious about getting chow! My second even BIT me once. Not terribly sexy.

Gravatar You can breastfeed without showing the entire world, or even anyone sitting next to you anything. A baby blanket discreetly draped over your shoulder takes care of the peep show.

And for people who think women should breastfeed in public bathrooms...would YOU eat in there?

Gravatar Prophecy...I think it is because they are sleep-deprived and just want the little darlings to shut up...so they stuff their little pieholes without thinking!

And I am only sort of kidding.

Gravatar For some reason I kept thinking it was Lucy Lui and I could not for the LIFE of me figure out what the freak was going on until I read a Xena comment and figured out I had the wrong Lucy.

Gravatar All you dingbats that are droning on about breastfeeding should go get real jobs. No, motherhood is not considered a real job. It is in fact a joke, or else there would not be so many little Federlines in the world.

Gravatar I believe the sleep deprived thing can drive you to all sorts of things... breast feeding in front of relatives not being the least....

sorry Anon.. no one is gonna nibble that bait.

Gravatar Damn...how many titties are we going to see in this blog today....I believe there is a "four tittie limit!"

Gravatar When Lucy pops in her green contacts, devil milk flows out into the spawn babe.

Gravatar All you dingbats that are droning on about breastfeeding should go get real jobs. No, motherhood is not considered a real job. It is in fact a joke, or else there would not be so many little Federlines in the world.
Anon

What a good idea! Let daycare centers raise all our children. It's been working out great, so far!

Gravatar No shit Dingbat. I raised my spawns.

Gravatar She looks amazing! Loving the outfit and its nice to see a celeb breastfeeding.

Gravatar sorry...i dont care much for her..but like her boobs.

Gravatar Can I share with the baby?

Gravatar She had that baby with my dad's college roommate!!!

Gravatar I just realized that I have some shoes just like that -- only mine have black ankle straps.

Gravatar Those are Lucy's REAL BREASTS. She's built like an Amazon! There ain't no plastic in that beyatch!

Gravatar I breast fed with implants.

She looks great! Good for her.

Gravatar I thought Pamela Anderson was the poster girl for breast feeding with implants.

Lucy's suit had built in boobies... I don't think she has implants.

Gravatar Where do you buy those suits with built-in boobies, anyway? (whistles)

Just askin'

Gravatar Bug Spray

If you find out... send me an email

Gravatar how can xena truly breastfeed when she 's always kicking butt???!!!

Gravatar almost looks like an ad for an airline with a flight attendent doing her duties

Gravatar Is it wrong to get a boner from watching something so goddamn innocent?

Gravatar JC: No. Lots of men & women get turned on by this. The only thing is, a baby suckling on your boob can be painful. They aren't gentle at all!

Gravatar wickedbored ...I didn't think one could do that?

anyway....she looks great.

Gravatar She doesn't have implants. This poster is nearly 4 years old. That baby'll be 4 here in a couple of months.

Ash

Gravatar awesome

Gravatar Wonder what Barbara Walters thinks of this pic?

Gravatar She was recently seen in Battlestar Gallactica on the sci fi channel - if you like sci fi, it's a great show!

Gravatar Hawt!

Gravatar It's rare, but it happens, says Ruth A. Lawrence, M.D., author of Breastfeeding: A Guide for the Medical Professional. Both nursing and sex depend on increased levels of oxytocin, a hormone that triggers the milk "letdown" reflex and also puts women in the mood to cuddle (with their babies or partners). Oxytocin levels increase during sex and peak just before orgasm, which suggests that the hormone is central to sexual gratification. So some nursing mothers may become aroused, explains Dr. Lawrence, who stresses that "women shouldn't worry if this happens -- it doesn't mean something is wrong physically or emotionally

Gravatar Do you think Michael Jackson has ever tried to breastfeed his kids?

Gravatar Male psychologists say women love breastfeeding because they get sexual stimulated and because of that the uterus would recover faster. some of the women would get so addicted they would get a child because of that each year (it's an opinion influenced by Sigmund Freud).
As this psychologists never will have the possibility to breasfeed it seems more to be an opinion born by their sexual phantasy.

Gravatar Can-tacular!

Gravatar She doesn't have implants, but even if she did, they shouldn't interfere with breast feeding.

Great photo, except for the black fishnet hose with those weirdo shoes.

And I swear, y'all, reading all this strange-o orgasm shit about breasfeeding....ewwwwww I just finished my first cup of coffee. TMI !!!

Gravatar I really like Lucy Lawless but I can't understand why she would want to pose for this add? It's not very tasteful and I have nothing against breastfeeding either.

Gravatar So she breastfed her kid. Whoop-di-doo. I know how to poop in the toilet!!!!

I get tired of all these breastfeeding fanatics going on and on and on about it. Don't let this thread turn that way. If you want to get your rocks off on discussing your breastfeeding experiences, go to Celebrity Baby Blog and join that bunch of unemployed militant breast-obsessed broads.

Gravatar I can't speak for Lucy, but I think she did this add to show that women can still be sexy and be mothers that breastfeed. I know when this poster first came out, there was a bit hooplah about the fact that she was wearing fishnet. That wasn't the point of the poster, but everybody is so sex-obsessed that that's the first thing they look at.

Ashley

Gravatar I breastfed my children for a very short time.It hurt like hell (they were both biters) and they were big eaters,so I gave up on the advice of my pediatrician.

They both switched to formula after 3 weeks and it did nothing to harm them. They are very intelligent, tall, healthy, and happy. And I was happy that hubby could share the task of feeding the babies, not to mention my boobs looked better, instead of being big bags of liquid, leaking out all over the place.

I have nothing against breastfeeding, but I think there is too much pressure from people who have no business telling others what to do.Maybe if "advocates" (and by advocates,I don't mean the people in this thread-----you are pretty tame, but I mean the LecheLeague whackos) let up a bit, more women would try it and/or stick with it.

Gravatar KATIE I TEND TO AGREE WITH YOU RE: THERE BEING WAY TOO MUCH PRESSURE ON WOMEN TO BREASTFEED. I WENT THROUGH THAT WHEN MY TWINS WERE BORN. I HAD FULLY INTENDED TO BREASTFEED AND HAD TROUBLE ALMOST FROM THE GET-GO. THE HOSPITAL HAD A BF'ING CONSULTANT COME IN AND HELP ME AND IT DIDN'T HELP. SHE MADE IT SOUND LIKE BF'ING TWINS SHOULD BE VERY EASY. THEN WHEN I GOT HOME, MY HUBBY HIRED A LACTATION CONSULTANT TO COME OUT TO THE HOUSE. SHE TOLD ME "IF YOU DON'T WANT YOUR DAUGHTER TO DEVELOP OVARIAN CANCER ONE DAY, YOU'LL MAKE SURE SHE IS BREASTFED." I WAS SO UPSET BY THAT EXPERIENCE!!

Gravatar Ooops!Sorry for the caps!!!

Gravatar To add...something about this photo creeps me out. I mean, it's going to turn someone ON. Isn't it meant to? The whole photo is just...disturbing. The fact that it's meant to be a sexually attractive photo of a woman breastfeeding. You know? I don't know. Fuck it, I need some more coffee.

Gravatar I don't buy the breast-is-best propaganda.

I only breastfed my eldest for 2 weeks, but I formula fed the rest and they are ALL very healthy and smart.

My best friend on the other hand exclusively breastfed her children: one died of brain cancer at 18 months, one beat cancer (thank God!), one has multiple life-threatening allergies and asthma, and her eldest is in the low-functioning class at school.

The only reason I would recommend bf'ing is because it's cheap and handy if you get the hang of it.But I don't buy the "it's healthier" argument at all.

Gravatar Lucy Lawless looks like she's on the verge of a big O in this picture.Pervert.

Gravatar Where can I get those shoes?!

Gravatar who the f would balance themselves like that on an arm of a chair holding a baby, let alone breastfeeding it.

Gravatar Cammie:

Have you considered your friend has bad genes or was exposed to some environmental factors while pregnant... or both? Breast is best, but the other stuff will do.

Gravatar Cammie I agree with you. I chose not breastfeed because the medication I was taking would have been passed through breastmilk.(Prozac, yes post partum depression...Bite me Tom Cruise!) My daughter was/is a very healthy happy kid. In fact she didn't even catch her first cold until she was 18 months old. My sister's kid who is breastfeeding is sick ALL the time.

I got really tired of santimonious mothers looking down at me for not breastfeeding and many had the balls to ask WHY I wasn't breastfeeding...like it was a form of child abuse practically. Hey it's not possible for everyone and most of the time the kid turns out just fine.

Gravatar I don't think it makes great difference if you breastfeed or not.
My sister and I got only the bottle.
While I was always ill (got every shit from everybody in school) my sister turned out an amazone.
She never has been ill, not an influenza, not a child-diseases, nothing. A monster of health.

Brandy Alexander, Austin | 03.16.06 - 9:21 am | #

Not that I know of. "The other stuff" has been feeding babies and keeping them healthy for decades. Formula is not the devil.

Don't go to Celebrity Baby Blog then. They are a rabid bunch of psychos. I once tried to point out the stupidity of their "breastfeeding is far superior to formula" rant and got kicked out. In my opinion, if you can do it (breatsfeed), good for you, you'll save tons of money. But in the end, it doesn't make much difference. Even if you breastfeed and think your kid will be superior...guess what.... They will be exposed to water full of chemicals, radiation from many different sources, and unhealthy air. There are lots of stupid, sickly people in the world who were breastfed. It has more to do with genetics than what you drank when you were a baby.

Gravatar well said, violet.

Gravatar These militant breastfeeding advocates are sort of like scientologists....

My oldest brother was breastfed exclusively for almost a year. He's smart (he made it through med school, I'll give him that!); but he has multiple health problems (asthma, migraines, etc), not to mention some psychiatric problems....

I was formula fed (exclusively) because I was almost 11 lbs at birth, and I needed a heartier diet. Fast forward 30 years and I am a well educated, happily married mom of two beautiful children. The only health problem I have had is a couple of herniated disks in my lower back (caused by sports).

"That stuff" (formula) didn't hurt me one bit.

Gravatar Nice racks and legs, no doubt; but damn those are OLD hands! Look at the veins!

Salmonella | 03.16.06 - 10:02 am | #

Ewwwwwww! I didn't notice that before.

Gravatar She only breastfed because a lot of people implied that she was a dyke before that time. She probably wanted to feel more feminine; a lot of women who breastfeed only do it so they can feel more like a woman and less like a tranny.

Anonymous | 03.16.06 - 10:11 am | #

LOL at tranny. But I don't think that's a reason to breastfeed!!

Gravatar Violet, I second that

Gravatar Yah why would they photograph her perched on the side of a frigging chair while breastfeeding???? I remember when I breastfed my twins for that short period of time,it was always a huge production, usually involving needing a whole king or queen-sized bed to myself, lots of pillows for propping, etc. I was never dressed all sexy and sitting on a bike or anything.

Gravatar violet, I've been to that blog too and it's funny that they have this rigid list of posting "don'ts" and Danielle (one of the blog hostesses) has gotten increasingly hostile toward celebrities. Then, when the posters say something almost identicle to what she's already said, she calls them out and deletes the comments. If she doesn't like your opinion, you get banned. I think they've lost a lot of visitors to that site. Danielle has gone crazy since she had her baby and posts a gazillion comments on all the wonderful things she is doing as a mother and how people are starting to "recognize" her on the street. She's either lost her mind or her ego has gone berserk! I don't go back there.

Gravatar Ok......posing somewhat erotically, breastfeeding.

Gravatar Grietje, I know what you mean!!! She was militant, but somewhat normal before she had that baby, but I think she had some kind of mental breakdown afterwards. I notice that she doesn't post as much now and when she did recently, she went berserk over Britney Spears a few times. She completely slammed Brit for something irrelevant and the only two people who replied defended Britney. (I think the comment was re: the nanny holding SPF a lot)

When Danielle was pregnant and posted pictures of herself, I nearly barfed because the bitch has such an ugly face. Her kid ended up being ummmm....kinda ugly, too.

I noticed that Danielle likes to point out any time her stupid blog gets mentioned in the press. I think now that it's pretty much flopped, she won't be able to do that anymore. I think there are only like 2 or 3 people who go there and actually respond anymore. I also heard that anyone who says anything (in Celebrity Baby Blog) that isn't 100% in favor of breastfeeding gets permanently banned.... I haven't been able to post since last year after I argued with one of her 3 weirdo breastfeeding crazed housewives.

Gravatar Violet:
I looked at that site a couple weeks ago, and each post has MAYBE 2 comments. One of the commenters is the same gal as a year ago, all she ever says is "I'm so happy for them!" "I think she looks great!" "The baby is so adorable!" I won't mention the poster's name, but her sweetness will give anyone diabetes.

Gravatar tim - that doesn't happen. But then, it might be the fact that they immediately become cracked and bleeding, or maybe it's the sleep deprivation, or the hemorroids left over from pregnancy and childbirth, or the nightsweats... Anyway. Breastfeeding pretty much eradicating sex in this house.

Gravatar I like how people are associating breast milk with horrid diseases.

Shell, I bet you mean either tink1217 or joy. They both sound like over-the-top positive retards on all of their posts! "She is beautiful! I love her! The baby is admorable! I am so happy for them!"

What a fucking BORING blog!!!!!!! (I mean Celebrity Baby Blog) All you can do is read about famous people announcing a pregnancy or having a baby and then contribrute such gay happy-assed comments and you're not allowed to put down any celebs or their babies!!!! (except Britney Spears or anyone who didn't breastfeed apparently!!)

GOD BLESS D-LISTED! THIS BLOG ROCKS!

I don't think anyone is suggesting that breastfeeding is bad for the baby! But I do think there's a lot of bullshit propaganda out there about how bad formula is. I just think these militant breastfeeding fanatics need to ummm...get a job or a hobby and worry less about how other moms feed their babies.

Gravatar By the way, for any spelling, etc Nazis out there, I do realize I typed "admorable" instead of adorable. And yes, I can spell!

I guess it seemes insinuated to me, that's all. The one poster said her brother has lots of health issues now, and he was breastfed. But despite her sports injuries, she's the picture of perfect health. All of it was said in the context of being breastfed or not. Just observing is all.

I totally agree about the propaganda. You have to do what's best for your baby, and that will probably be different for each baby that you have.

All I really want to know is this: Where did she get those fabulous shoes?

Gravatar Hmm I had an 11 pound son and was able to breastfeed him exclusively. He didn't need a "heartier diet". Your body produces what the baby needs.

I'm still BFing baby number 2 here and there is nothing sexual about it. There is nothing gentle about a hungry baby.

Finally I think this poster is fabulous! Lucy is inspiring

Gravatar Got to love all these "anonymous" commenters. They need to hide because their comments are uneducated drivel......

Anyway, to each his own. I don't buy into the "breast is best" garbage. If you can do it, good for you. If you can't, it really doesn't make much difference.

Gravatar Haha...LOSER! I have a job moron!

AND WORKING AT WALMART OR MCDONALD'S DOESN'T COUNT!!!! NOW GO BACK TO YOUR SEXUALLY CHARGED BREASTFEEDING SESSION!

Gravatar I can see this thread is going down the toilet. Have fun, kids!

Gravatar I have a picture of me breastfeeding my first newborn, and my BOOB IS BIGGER THAN HIS HEAD!!!!!!!

Memories.........

BF is good because it shrinks your uterus back down to size very quickly.

Gravatar Have fun too!

Gravatar I didn't breastfeed and I'm glad. My boobs went back to normal really quickly and din't get stretched out and saggy like those of a lot of breastfeeding mothers. Formula was a bit pricey, but it's made so well now, that there isn't much difference from breastmilk.

Gravatar She looks good here.

Gravatar For once she doesn't look like a man.
