I think that making the jump from "looked like a controlled demolition" to "the US government did it" is crazy talk. I wouldn't necessarily say there isn't a sort of government cover up if say, the terrorists planted bombs on the Towers themselves, and didn't use just the planes, cause more bombs on the Towers would make the government look much dumber than just the planes, considering there'd already been bombs there and duh, now bombs again.
But yeah, I think Charlie Sheen is crazy.

Uh, I don't want to sound like a nut, but he might be referring ot a very well documented study that came out last year.(maybe?). It is a DVD titled "Discovering the Evidence" I have a copy. I can understand how people could think the way Charlie does because the whole thing does seem so improbable. Even the al-qaeda guys were surprised that the Towers actually collapsed. But, sometimes things that seem completely improbable just happen and it's very difficult for some people to accept this.
It's like the JFK assasination. It's just very hard to accept that some loner freak with a cheap rifle was able to kill the almighty President of the United States, and one of the most popular and loved ones too. But, fact is, it really was just Oswald acting on his own. This has been established time and time again by many serious independent investigations (sorry, Oliver Stone groupies!).

Not a fan of conspiracy theories at all and this hasn't changed my mind. Islamic fundamentalists hate America with a passion and tend to be pretty well educated. These people also see it as a honour to die for their cause, so what happened on 9/11 was well within their capabilities. 9/11 was definitely the most horrific thing that has happened in my lifetime. I think out of respect for the families and their continuing suffering, people should put the conspiracy theories to bed, unless they have absolute concrete evidence not to.

While I don't think I really believe this theory of Sheen's, I will say that, in light of the snow job this Bush administration has done over the last several years, I am far more open "other" theories. I sure as fuck don't believe anything they have to say.
I do think it's very likely that the plane that went down in a field in Pennsylvania was shot down by our military. They really had no choice since it was headed back to DC, but it's something the government has never owned up to.
If you'll recall, there was very little press about that plane back in Sept 2001 in comparison to the Twin Towers and the Pentagon. We were told, "okay, that plane crashed, made a giant hole, is completely disintegrated, and there is absolutely nothing to investigate." The only thing we knew about that flight was about the heroic passengers on board. It's as if the questions about that crash were deliberately rerouted to focus on the stories that tugged at our hearts, but nothing else is known. If you really think about it, the whole Pennsylvania crash remains shrouded in mystery. It's all very suspicious, especially in light of an administration that seems to be incapable of telling the truth. (i.e., it is becoming more and more apparent that Army Ranger Tillman's death was criminal and has been covered up by the Army.)
It all makes me very sad.

Charlie's either an imbecile or he's been dropping acid again. He's definitely his father's son. It's amazing that whenever anything bad happens in America, there's always a theory of "government conspiracy" that follows. It implies that individuals or groups of individuals aren't capable of doing anything evil or diabolical on their own, without the aid of government. I guess Jeffrey Dahmer was really working for the CIA when he murdered all his victims. Sheesh!!

I live near the FLIGHT 93 crash site and they are having to massively review the memorial they picked.
"Crescent of Embrace" will feature a Tower of Voices, containing 40 wind chimes -- one for each passenger and crew member who died -- and two stands of red maple trees that will line a walkway caressing the natural bowl shape of the land. Forty separate groves of red and sugar maples will be planted behind the crescent, and a black slate wall will mark the edge of the crash site, where the remains of those who died now rest.
The problem with it though is the winning design chosen to memorialize the heroes and victims of 9/11's Flight 93 is in the shape of a red crescent that looks -- either accidentally or intentionally -- remarkably like an Islamic crescent.

If by conspiracy he means that the US government ignored all the warnings..then yes I have to agree. But Dubya is not smart enough to have masterminded the 9/11 attack. The government probably shot down the PA plane...There was a lack of bodies and wreckage to make the crash theory plausible...
I don't blame ANYONE for still questioning the US governments role in this tradegy...and I still don't understand how boxcutters would have proven a great enough threat to getting control of the plane...The pilots are trained to deal with hijackers so I find it suspicious that they would give control over to the terorists...(IMO)

It's too hard to believe anything these days on either side of the topic. In a time of photo and video editing, no evidence is ever going to be completely believable. And the stories we are hearing are from people involved in a traumatic event who probably didn't have a really clear grip on what was happening, they were just trying to survive.
No one will ever know and there is no use trying to get the government to come clean if it is a coverup. I mean look at how Congress had a private session to get to the bottom of the whole Iraq war thing...we never heard about it again after that.

Think about the time (before 9/11) that this happens, so the passengers think they are taking a trip to Cuba then go home, why fight.
As to the building, HELLO that is the way the Twin Towers was designed to fall....Charlie should take a look at engineering 101...dumb hollywood bitches should not disrespect the country that gives them so much, talk about disrespecting the lives of people lost, Charlie should look in the mirror and at the prostitutes he pays for...Dumb Ass...

Flight 93 Remains, Aircraft Parts Recovered
Plane Pieces Unidentifiable
Posted: 5:35 p.m. EDT September 30, 2001
Updated: 12:09 p.m. EDT October 1, 2001
SHANKSVILLE, Pa. -- Somerset County Coroner Wallace Miller said that volunteers recovered more plane parts and human remains Sunday in the area where United Flight 93 crashed.
Miller said the human remains were being cataloged and would be processed for identification. The plane parts, he said, were unidentifiable.
"They're just very small parts of metal. You could never tell what they were," he said.
Though investigators ended the search Sept. 23, it was renewed Saturday after United Airlines consultants believed high winds and heavy rains may have shaken additional evidence out of the trees last week.
About 220 volunteers with the Southwestern Pennsylvania Emergency Response Group participated in the search, Miller said.
So far, 12 victims of the Boeing 757 crash that killed all 44 passengers have been identified, Miller said. He is refusing to release the names of those victims, saying he does not want to upset their families.
He said DNA testing will be used to identify the other victims, a process that could take months.
Miller said United Airlines would take control of the crash site Monday for cleanup.

can anyone here fly an airliner? if several motivated hijackers cut the pilot's throat and then declare "remain seated and you won't be hurt" what would you do? honestly, would you rush them and fight? the fact is the people on the two flights that crashed into the twin towers were probably praying and hoping they would come out of this. they didn't know their pilots were dead. they didn't know what was going to happen. apparently, the people on the penn. flight did, though, and they apparently knew they were doomed anyway, so they went down fighting. Yes the administration has issues...don't let me start on the "war/invasion" or Katrina. But the whole 9/11 thing was due to the fact as americans we got too cozy, thought we were indestructable. past administrations ACTIVELY decided to downsize the military, cut defense spending and worry about endagered turtles in Alaska. We got cozy, then we got pimp smacked.

mpcmike--From what I've heard, phone calls were made by people on the plane to their loved ones and such. They knew what was going on in New York. If I knew I was going to die anyway, I think I too would make a point of making sure they didn't accomplish their goal of hurting other people.
However, I have always found it scary (not odd or unbelievable though) that so many successful highjackings could occur at the same time. It really was a testament to the apathy of the airlines pre-9/11

secondly - say what yall want about GW...he took this war elsewhere. it's not being fought on American soil and personally - thank God. sure - governments fuck shit up and try to cover it up but the truth of the matter is we all live our safe little lives everyday and don't have to fear a terrorist attack. not since 9-11 has anything happened on US soil and it's not for a lack of will or trying on the part of those that despise America.

Personally, I think the US military shot down flight 93 after it was hijacked to prevent it from heading for DC. A mere "crash" does not leave just itty bitty plane parts that are "unidentifiable."
Even with a bomb on board (like Lockerbie), there are still some chunks of plane and people left.
A couple of missiles...eh...not so much.

I completely agree with this. I'm not ultra conservative, but I do notice that liberals are some of the most imature babies out there! They cannot hanndle other people's opinions. And I'm not trying to stereotype. I know tons and tons of liberals, and they all have that same quality. I just don't get it. Kitkatwoman, time to learn to read critically.
See this coroner's quote from another article:
"Even in the middle of it all, where trees were scorched and the Boeing 757's fuselage disintegrated in a crater that collapsed on itself to leave a gouge maybe 14 feet across, the destruction was so complete that it was hard to imagine what happened.
"It was as if the plane had stopped and let the passengers off before it crashed," Miller said."
http://www.post-gazette.com/
head...maker1015p2.asp
Notice that in your link, he discusses finding "human remains." That is not the same thing as finding a body or pieces of bodies.
Why do we care? Because if a plane CRASHED, you would find bodies or pieces of bodies.
If a plane were SHOT DOWN, you would find "remains"...that is to say, a tooth here, a hair there, which is basically what coroners are talking about when they say "remains."
I agree it's a somewhat subtle distinction- whether the plane crashed or was shot down. But I have no patience with our government's lying for no good reason.
What else are they lying about, and why?

I think there is a very good reason for people to hate the US. I agree with the bumper sticker "I love my country but fear my government". There was a very good book that I read called "why people hate the US" and they make some seriously valid points about our hypocritical nature. And, one man interviewed rationalized hatred of all Americans by the fact that we elect our president and congress to represent us so if they do something underhanded then we all did.
The US gave Iran the means to start enriching nuclear materials. Now we're mad at them. We supported Iraq and then we attacked them. We're buddy buddy with Turkey so we can use their land and airspace...but we will attack them in 5 years probably.

too many Americans are hating on each other, evidenced by some of the comments above that Americans are arrogant, cocky etc. Spend some time abroad and you'll know there are lots of types of people all over the place. If you think Americans are bad, get out of here and go somewhere else. It's people like this that make this country less of what it is and should be. Great, have an opinion but there are so many things great about this country that you don't have to always find the negatives and disregard the positives. Start standing up for your country... if you are from the US, that is. Get off the bandwagon and start coming up with some original thoughts and lines. As far as the Charlie comment, does anyone really believe this to be true? You might not like GW or the administration, but please, that is just not even called for.

Actually. I'm more pissed that I did vote. Because of the way the electoral process works, Bush winning the majority in our state meant that my vote was handed to the man I didn't vote for. And, because CO's electoral process reform bill didn't pass, that's the way it will probably end up everytime.

I'm more likely to believe a conspiracy theory when it:
a)involves a government with a proven track record of bold-faced lies
b)results in a benefit or provides motivation to act upon a desired path of action (ie planned but unjustified invasions)
c)occurs in a time of unprecidented media manipulation
d)creates an atmosphere where debate on the subject at hand is discouraged and a culture of fear
Out of curiosity - why do you think it was really the result of "terrorists"? Aside from the "proof" you have through the media and official government statements, what actual things do you personally know to be true about the story firsthand?

Jess, yeah the recruitment tactics NOW are very dicey with the declining enlistments. This is a news article and not my opinion, DONT SHOOT THE MESSENGER(and this is just for LAW SCHOOLS):
And then this happens:
Supreme Court Hears Military Recruitment Case
The nation's top law schools lost a significant legal argument on Monday when a unanimous Supreme Court ruled that the federal government could withhold funding from schools that bar military recruiters in protest of the anti-gay "don't ask, don't tell" policy.
"Students and faculty are free to associate to voice their disapproval of the military's message," wrote Chief Justice John Roberts. "Recruiters are, by definition, outsiders who come onto campus for the limited purpose of trying to hire students — not to become members of the school's expressive association."

Good to hear Muzi, but not as many people don't like as as you may think. Just as the media wants us to believe whatever can sell a story, they also want to show how much people don't like us to support the liberal view that the war is bad. I've spent a good deal of time of the past year in European countries and I can't even tell you how many more people like and love Americans than hate us. I'm proud to tell people I'm an American wherever I go. And I hope we blindly don't think that everyone else in the world is loved. I bet everyone can find people in every country they don't like. People target the US for hate comments b/c we really are the center of it all. As egocentric as it sounds, it's true. People look to us for views and trends on everything. It just so happens when it's not in their particular opinion, they start hating on us. Maybe if other countries weren't so lazt in so many aspects, then they can get their own voice heard, products sold, opinions mattered and stop feeding off everything we're expected to give out.
I love the opinions on here. It's great, and it opens my eyes to different thought. Allbeit, some very strange.

I think Canada-US has a strange sibling relationship too - we are so much alike, but still so different in some ways.
We are certainly proud of our differences and like to pretend that you guys don't have all that cool stuff down there!
But, if you break your leg we'll fix it for free, and our army recruiters will leave you alone (please join the army? no? ok then...).

not only did the collapse of the twin towers look like a controlled demolition, but the collapse of the other smaller building at the world trade center was also total bullshit. the city just decided to take the building down and imploded it later that day, even though it takes months of planning and tons of explosives to do it right.

That's funny, I was in Vancouver, Canada and I felt the hate. And no, I was respectful and didn't act like an ass. Well, once when I was 7-11 and asked where the beer was. The Canuck behind the counter pratically spat out, "you are not in America". o.k. Abso-fucking-lutly. My father was in the AF for 20 years, and I have nothing but respect and admiration for our soldiers and those serving our country. They do it because they love America, and they love the American people and they are protecting our rights and our freedoms.
Soldiers do what they're told by their "superiors" and sadly, their "commander in chief." They don't get to pick and choose or question which battles they fight. If it weren't for them, we'd be in deep shit. And probably speaking German or Russian or Chinese.
I do think we should have a constitutional amendment that requires any president who wants to declare war to either have served in the military in a war zone and experienced combat or have a close, blood family member (brother, son, daughters) who must serve if they declare war.
If they've ever seen combat up close and/or know their loved ones will be personally affected, perhaps our esteemed politicians would think twice before going all Godzilla on the rest of the world.

Big Toe--you really must have been born yesterday. You say no terrorist attacks happened under Clinton? What about the first WTC bombing, OK City bombing, and the USS Cole bombing? All you people are absolute idiots. The government has NOT hidden the fact that orders were made on 9/11 to shoot down any other planes that appeared to be hijacked. Having said that, the flight 93 story as it happened is entirely plausible without bringing in a theory that it was shot down--even if it had been, the fact that orders were given to shoot down any other planes was by no means a secret. Prior to 9/11, anytime a flight was hijacked, the crew were instructed to obey the hijackers, because the plane would likely end up safe. Look at what happened on 9/11--the terrorists were successful because the crew was following standard procedure for hiijackings. Now look at what happened a few months later, with Richard Reid--no more 'standard procedure'--a bunch of people tackled him and avoided disaster. And yes, it is perfectly reasonable that a bunch of guys with boxcutters could take over a plane--passenger phone calls detailed murders that occured on board--including pilots and some passengers. As for the pentagon being hit by a missile b/c of 'minimal' damage--no one here seems to have any idea just how massive the Pentagon is. I don't feel like looking it up now--but I believe that the plane crashed through 4 out of the 5 rings the comprise the pentagon. Years prior to 9/11, the pentagon was undergoing a renovation of astronomical costs that included fire proofing the entire building. The wall that the plane crashed into had benefited from that restoration--wings would likely cause little to no damage, the body of the plane, where the fuel is storied, would cause damage--hence the thin hole made in the building--damage barely spread to either side because the building was fireproofed and perhaps the strongest glass available is installed throughout the pentagon--explaining the fact that the windows did not shatter. I have stood in the spot where the plane hit the pentagon--in the inside of the building. The belly of the aircraft did hit the ground first, before it entered the building--this slowed it down a lot, and a lot of the fuel was burned up in this initial crash before it entered the building. Coming in, the plane clipped the antennas off the Sheraton hotel, and then knocked down a powerline pole that crashed onto a taxi cab--the driver of that cab was killed. You guys are really all idiots--you should begin reading sources that aren't hellbent on insane 'facts'.

Bug Spray - i would like to have a president have military experience if they're going to run a war...but it's not really plausible unless every president has military experience simply b/c you can't always predict when a war will break out. Sometimes war comes to you. A president needs to have integrity and trust in his advisors - and even more than that - trust the officers that are with the troops. you can't fight a fucking war from an office, you fight a war on the front lines. that has often been the problem with President's is that they don't listen to what the soliders are saying.

Please explain why there's no damage to the Pentagon grounds if the plane hit and the resulting explosion was large enough to dissipate most of teh plane's fuel, as you claimed in your earlier post.
Remember: you said the reason there wasn't more damage done to the structure of the Pentagon was because of the skid and explosion prior to the plane's hitting the Pentagon.
So where's the damage from this external explosion? After you explain that, we'll discuss why your explanation is impossible from a Physics standpoint.

Use your imagination, "?".
As the earlier anon poster mentioned, one need not believe in a wholesale conspiracy to have a problem with the official story.
If you are comfortable being lied to, that's another thing entirely. Many Americans feel that way-- "government should just do what it needs to do, and I understand I don't need to know about it." I can understand feeling this way.
I personally think that terrorists took out flight 77 AND a terrorist missile hit the Pentagon. The gov't could be lying about it to keep us from freaking out even more than we already are.
It's a shame because I don't think we'll ever know the true burial site for the people on that plane. I believe the plane was shot down or brought down at sea by terrorists.
Do I think our governement is "in on it"? Hell no. Do I think they're lying their asses off to stabilize the economy? Yes.
(Recall the stock market freefall right after 9/11. But, it recovered once the government appeared to be "on top of the situation.")

Bean's right--it seems strange that your anti-terrorism pentagon source is spewing conspiracy theories. anything more indepth than a general overview of what happened that day seems a bit strange for a pentagon employee to be saying. personnel at the pentagon have always maintained that the plane's nose hit the ground first--you want a source? well, can't really source it since it was in a conversation. yes, some fuel was lost and speed reduced on initial impact right in front of the pentagon wall, but remaining fuel exploded on impact with the building. I've got real work to do anyway now--but you go on ahead believing your idiotic theories. no use arguing with people when they only have a handful of brain cells.

"What does he think about all of this? None of us has any idea, because he doesn't talk."
No one is proposing that you ask relatives working at the Pentagon "what they think about it." That would be putting their lives in danger and would be stupid.
But, did you ask your relative what the Pentagon lawn looked like on / immediately after 9/11?
My questions to my relative were asked quite innocently, and looooong before I even thought about questioning the official story. "Gee, (relative), how did they get the grounds back to normal so fast after the plane basically crashed on the lawn?"
Response: "There wasn't much damage to the grounds, just the renovated wing that the plane hit."
Most recently, I commented to same relative: "All those 9/11 conspiracy theories must drive you guys nuts."
Response: "Well, I guess I understand where they're coming from since the US government has been known to start its own wars."
Having said all this, I don't believe in a grand conspiracy. I do believe the official story was hurriedly spat out in order to cover up all the incompetency surroundeding these events.

Also, one thing that bothers me the most is why no black box was found in the PA crash. Generally, chances are usually good of finding it in this type of a crash, and you've never heard it even being mentioned. Just a quick statement - the fact that they didnt find WMDs isn't necessarily inept. It's very unfortunate seeing as how the administration has paid dearly for not finding any. my point is that because they didn't find any, does not mean they weren't there. first of all, a WMD isn't necessarily a huge bomb - it can be something ridiculously small and in the form of a biological agent. also - these could have been smuggled through underground tunnels into any other neighboring country (especially Syria). i am not saying this is fact, i am simply stating a logical possibility that people seem to negate or overlook.

Please, please, please learn to read carefully.
I never said that my source at the Pentagon "spewed conspiracy theories."
I said he confirmed to me little damage to the grounds / lawn. Period.
Later, I was amazed to hear people say that some tremendous "skid" on the lawn dissipated enough energy so that only a small hole was made in the Pentagon.
I'm open to other explanations and I don't believe in a governement conspiracy. But the skid theory won't fly, no pun intended.

Morticia, I agree with you. Perhaps it's true that Sadaam never had what he said he had, his WMD people just told him what he wanted to hear for fear of punishment, and perhaps it's true that in the months before the war started, they were able to move some of that stuff to Syria, or destroy it. And who knows, maybe there is stuff in Iraq hidden still, that hasn't been found. It could be relatively small stuff. And yes, perhaps it was gross incompetence on the part of the administration, bad intel, etc. But I don't buy that this prez, or any other, would *just* want to go to war, wars have been known to go badly, it's not as though a war is a slam-dunk vote getter...I think, if he was motivated by votes and polls and popularity, he would have just stuck with Afghanistan, which, after all, was supported by many more people.

2. Iraq was set to vote to change value to the Euro with OPEC (an agency we can not control)
Euro Union (which Britian is not a part of) = Happy = Europe dominating Global Econ.

Neo - enough with your ridiculous analogies. We're not there to "save the dollar" and though I won't completely disagree that oil plays a role in this endeavour, it is not the crucial point nor purpose. what is unfortunate is that we tiptoe around issues b/c we need oil and therefore cannot act as we would if we were in this situation with a different country. if we wanted to kiss ass and have oil pumping into the US without consequence, then we certainly wouldn't be pissing off the arab nations...the administration did what they thought they needed to do and now exhaust themselves trying to placate the other arab nations - this is done because unfortunately they have what we need. if bush and cheney had enough personal motivation about oil to start this damn war, bush certainly wouldn't be pushing for - and throwing major monies at cultivating alternative fuel solutions.

I am not, however, going to resort to buying these asinine conspiracy theories hook, line, and sinker. And as for your comment about saving the dollars, well, we do run this country on oil, no? We'd better do something to keep our oil supply flowing...I for one don't want to live without it, and I don't know anyone who doesn't feel the same way (and before you start in about that comment, my husband is more than likely going to be spending a year in Iraq very soon). The 9/11 commission report is a joke. Many family members of the victims could tell you that. Does that suggest a conspiracy? maybe. Bush is a dumbass but the people working in his administration are not. They stole two elections and convinced the American public to go along with the Iraq adventure. What is amazing is it takes some stupid Hollywood actor to ask questions many Americans should have been asking themselves. What is wrong with a real 9/11 commision not made up of Bush insiders with connections to big oil?

Yes, they fucked up and yes they're in backpeddal mode on several fronts, however - we still live in a country that is deemed safe and that says something about the effort behind homeland security since 9-11. One could also argue that 9-11 is just as much the fault of Clinton seeing as Osama was offered up on a silver platter but Clinton was too busy letting our soldiers get drug through the streets of Somalia while fucking Monica with a cigar. The point is - America has been protected since 9-11 and that's a pretty big fucking accomplishment. and ultimately the job of the president. i'm not a fucking Bush-lover but these ridiculous overarching statements about the administration are as pointless as Charlie's comments.

The footage you dumbhead Amurikans were shown on TV that day is fake & manufactured.
The Republikkkans have been planning this shit for a long while. Al Gore wouldnt take the presidency back in 2000 because he like all other Dems & Repubs knew that it was going to happen & if he tried to stop it he would be killed also.
You know talking about these kind of things with people from Mexico, Central & South America where govt. corrutption is blatant in your face , they have no problem believing this "theory".
Americans are so naive & guillable & thats excactly the way the govt. likes it , little fat kids that you can play tricks on with candy & mirrors.
Bush & Co have proved they would stop @ nothing to get their greedy crooked paws on that oil, there just had to be an excuse for it, & also to usher in a police state that the citizens will consent to.
9/11 is the biggest bullshit fairy tale like this nation has told its citizens since the Kennedy Assasination.
WAKE UP PEOPLE, CHARLIE MAY BE A CRACKHEAD, BUT HE IS RIGHT ABOUT THIS SHIT.

From "?" at 3:04:
"Bean's right--it seems strange that your anti-terrorism pentagon source is spewing conspiracy theories. anything more indepth than a general overview of what happened that day seems a bit strange for a pentagon employee to be saying."
I already addressed this at 3:10 and 3:24. You must learn to read more carefully.
"personnel at the pentagon have always maintained that the plane's nose hit the ground first--you want a source? well, can't really source it since it was in a conversation."
If you are presenting this as fact- and you are- then surely you can rustle up at least one link.
"yes, some fuel was lost and speed reduced on initial impact right in front of the pentagon wall, but remaining fuel exploded on impact with the building."
See your 1:34 post, in which you said that people who didn't know about the "skid theory" and the dead cabbie were "idiots." You presented yourself as an expert on this matter; now that your post has been shown to be full of inaccuracies, you are contradicting yourself.
"I've got real work to do anyway now--"
Hopefully it doesn't include fact-checking and reading comprehension.
"but you go on ahead believing your idiotic conspiracy theories."
Re-read each of my posts- 2:26, 3:02, 3:10, 3:24. In each one, I have clearly stated that I do not believe in a government conspiracy. Really, do you even KNOW how to read?
"no use arguing with people when they only have a handful of brain cells."

I just watched this whole video that someone pasted up above. I just want to say I found it to be total bullshit. Though I do believe that bombs were planted in the buildings and thats what brought the towers down.
It goes on to say that one flight never crashed in Penn. and that it landed elsewhere and the people were taken somewhere and now just disappeared. Yeah right.
I also find it rediculous that our government planned all this shit just for fucking money and gold. What the fuck ever. That is interesting b/c Jon Stewart had a General in the Iraqui A.F. on his show the other night, and he said that he saw the WMD and knows that they were moved out of the country.
Also, he wrote a book out now called Saddam's Secrets. Did you see the show? Was pretty interesting.

Bean, Foo is right. But if you have depression issues, Xanax is not for you. It can actually worsen (or cause) depression.
It's for anxiety only. I took one or two a day for a year when my bi-polar kid was driving me around the bend. Nowadays, I only take a half a tablet or a whole tablet once in a while when I really need to sleep well.
Well, except that since I found out I'm having surgery on the 3rd (which is causing extra anxiety) I'm taking them every night again... just temporarily.
I discovered the hard way that the Xanax inhibits my ability to write, which is why I went off them. (Even tho I loved sleeping every night all night long.) I need to write more than I need to sleep. Sigh.

Before you all get your panties in knots... I'd strongly suggest you all got and watch the documentary "loose change". While I don't agree with all the points in the movie, it does raise a number of questions which have still remained unanswered to this very day. As much as I'd like to believe that 9/11 was not carried out by our goverment, it still remains a fact that if 9/11 had not happened, Bush wouldn't have gotten his Wars on in Afghanistan and Iraq.

I just started Zoloft...I do have anxiety, due largely to the fact that I don't know where my husband will be in the next year-year and a half (plus raising my teen son and soon to be teen daughter!), but I've been depressed ever since I had surgery in January. I had some complications and it really took a toll on me. I guess getting the depression under control takes precedence for now. I will talk my doc about the Xanax for the future! Why does the media keep spoon-feeding us political commentary from ACTORS????? They're paid to read lines from a script because they are obviously incapable of coming up with educated things to say on their own.

Conspiracy theorists are dumb.
I think that if the government was so brilliant that they could plant bombs in the World Trade Center then they probably also could have figured out how to plant a few somewhere in Iraq for our armed forces to stumble over.
It's amazing to me the evil motives people can assign to the Bush administration yet apparently he isn't sinister enough to get a few vials of anthrax planted in Iraq somewhere. If he's not even willing to do that to help his poll numbers and justify the war, then I'll have a hard time believing 9/11 was anything other than Osama going after the WTC for the second time in his life.
But we all use our illusions.

Neo, you crack me up...Making fun of Snoopy while you have as your screen name Neo...methinks you've watched the Matrix one time too many. And as for Bug Spray turning this "girl" around, guess what? While I have my own opinions and beliefs, I am not close-minded, and I actually listen to what other people have to say...sometimes I even learn a thing or two. I'm certainly not arrogant enough to think I know everything.

On NPR today there was a bit by this gentleman who said that if Bush etc had been paying more attention they would have been able to see the crazy amounts of money trail to 16 or 17 Al Quida flight school trained people. THis is a brief probably not entirely accurate summary but I do not dismiss the chance that our Gov. had a part in it, sadly.

Bush is a pawn. Cheney is a dick, but also a pawn. The entire strategy (rather than "conspiracy") is to make sure that America remains the most powerful nation and never let another nation or area become more powerful. This is achieved through a number of means, not the least of which is unprovoked war and subversive plots to fund coups, civil wars in other countries, etc. Interesting, if you are interested.

I do have to admit that when 9-11 happened, I was suspicious of our government. I think a lot of people felt that way and didn't want to admit it. Bush's poll numbers were in the dumps prior to the attacks. It just seemed strange. Sorry to admit it that I dont trust our government. I support our troops and I love our country. But I dont trust our government.

Sheen's a fool. Our government is responible in the sense that they ignored the Bin Laden threat for so long and our intelligence agencies could not work with one another efficiently, but to say that our goverment would blatantly sabotage our safety and economy is patently absurd.

i don't necessaraly agree with Charlie, but i do think it's a good thing to continue to question the current administration regarding its actions pre/post 9/11 and its international policies that lead to the hostile environment in many Middle Eastern countries(and others) toward the US...(IMO)

i don't believe in conspiracy theorys, but i do have to admitt that things don't add up with the 9/11 senario....some of that i think has to do with National Security issues, bad international policies, and a general climate of distrust that surrounds our government...we should be questioning EVERYTHING that our "leaders" do as they do it in our Name and we are the ones that suffer the consequences!

I am so dissapointed in the comments posted.
We all love to get the "truth" about Hollywood and its character. But when "the truth" regarding our world, and how everyone is living under the laws of tyrant leaders pulling the wool over our eyes, when that truth is spoken your response is FEAR. That is exactly what "they" want. Get real - this has nothing to do with Charlie Sheen and everything to do with our little spinning planet and the unqualified murders that are running and controlling our future.
Dont be afraid - Listen to what is being said - Ask questions - Pass on the awnsers you find.
"They got away with mass murder that morning!"

Operation Northwoods:
In 1962 the Joint Chiefs of Staff were going to paint a plane like a commercial airliner and swap it with a real one. Then they were gonna shoot it down and blame Castro for it. Then go to war against Cuba using this fake terrorism. This document shows a number of similar actions and they were willing to kill civilians to make these plans happen.
I think maybe they finally got around to using this tactic on Sept 11, 2001.
All you have to do is read history:

Kinda makes you wonder. If the WTC was the center of financial activity for the world, and the buildings were both destroyed, why haven't we heard about a lot of high powered, rich financial folks dying in the incident? Were they all off work that day or hadn't they come in yet? Charlie may normally be an idiot, but a lot of people are starting to ask questions about the whole terrorism thing...
