I love me some Sly! I have "There's a Riot Going On" which I listen to at least once or twice a month. Didn't see the Grammys but he did the same thing at their induction in the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame, in fact, I don't think he even got on stage. Ask any brother or sister and they will say "the pipe got Sly". Which is to bad because I believe he is the Godfather of Funk (James Brown can't be the Godfather of everything and JB showed Bootsie & George how it's done) I am so voting Sly for hot slut of the month!

Sly Stone was a genius. His tunes were really ahead of his time. I still like listening to his old stuff.
Does he have any kids or ever married? A friend of mine said she was told he was rumored to have been dating that 50s movie star, Doris Day back in his hey day.
I think he opened a lot of doors for the P Funk stuff and Prince too. His tunes are classic.
