I just read the depositions and sorry, but I don't believe it. I DO, however believe that Charlie is an Asshole with a violent history and an overall Jerk with past/present additions to drugs and prostitutes. I don't, however, believe Denise. And here's why:
1. If my husband tried to take my kids away from me after we had a fight I would drag his ass out the car too. Sorry, but an argument doesn't give you the right to snatch your kids and run. Call the cops if you feel like you are in danger.
2. Denise doesn't sound like the most observant/in touch woman regarding her relationship with Charlie so it is plausible that he had valid reasons for taking those meds. (Not that I believe this)
3. Buying gas masks and pushing conspiracy theories does not make you a bad parent, just hypersensitive to the political climate that we live in.
4. Gambling doesn't make you a bad parent unless it puts your child in harms way.
5. Asking your wife to have an abortion doesn't make you abusive spouse just an insinsitive one and should have been Denise's clue to leave the relationship.
I could go on, but for the sake of space..i'll cut it short.

First of all these are just her allegations NOT FACTS! If you would just stop and THINK for a minute you can easily see that most of the things that Denise alludes to have no proof to back them up! I know some health professionals who believe that vaccinations can be dangerous to a baby and if you ask any pediatrician they will tell you that they have risks involved and in rare cases babies have died from them so it's not as if he is coming from left field on this. Second, its easy to SAY you contemplated filing retraining orders..but if you havn't appeared in front of a judge..well then it has no merit. As to kidie porn, if I say that on my husbands computer with two children in the house I would have called the COPS, and yet Denise didn't do that did she?!?! What responsible mother would put her child in that situation? None that I know of. Granted, she and Charlie have a history that is not pleasant and Charlie is an addmitted drug and sex addict, but I believe that most of these claims are Groundless! This is a PR stunt by Denise to try and effect her custody battle! These papers were filed in a public office, when they have the option of filing them privately! I wonder why that is? Considering that she was willing to put her life, and her childrens welfare on the line for the sake of Charlie's career why would she only NOW take this route?!

I have a theory.
I think it's entirely possible that the child pronography accusation's Denise is making against Charlie are false; but I do believe that he abused her and that he's threatened her. She hired security guards to keep him away, she must have felt threatened.
I don't know if Denise was a prostitute or not, and I don't have kids but a lot of you D-Listers do. One thing I've learned from reading your post's is this; you guys love your fucking kids. You may joke about how you'd shove your foot up their ass once in a while, but the fact is you love their little asses to death. I have no doubt that you would beat the shit out of anyone who might hurt them. I think Denise loves her kids as well, and I think she is thinking of her kids.

If Charlie threatened her, and she was legitimately frightened for her safety or her kids safety, then I think she would definitely have over-inflated Charlies known asshole(ish) way's. Her kids are involved and she's playing to win.
I'm not saying it's right, but judging by what well all know about Charlie Sheen (and let's not take the moral high ground here and say we don't really know because 'we're not there'... he's a known and admitted drug abuser, etc) it's perfectly understandable that she might decide to play rough.

bavva, I was never in an abusive relationship myself but from what I read I can see why it took her so long. An abusive man can beat you up and threaten you but he'll also cry and ask for your forgiveness and women, being the vulnerable human beings that we are, forget all that's happened and think that the man will really change.That never happens but it takes some time for the reality to sink in.

UYM, I can think of a few reasons why she filed publically, and yes one of them is to do a smear job on him. But here's other plausible reasons:
1. It might deter other women from getting involved with him
2. The whole world now knows that he was abusive to her(allegedly), so it would be wise of him to stay away from her and that provides her with some safety. If something bad happens to her, everyone knows to go knock on Charlie's door
3. The public allegations might force him to finally face his problems(I doubt it though)

The thing is people ALREADY know what as ASSHOLE Charlie is..and about his past/present additions. Also, none of her allegations, so far, have been proven AND they would have very little bearing on a Custody battle. I asked my mother, who works for Family Court, about this situation and she said that its almost GAURENTEED that Charlie will recieve joint/partial custody. The courts are very reluctant to bar one parent from seeing their children, even under the most horrific circumstances. Some judges will even allow a parent visitation (supervised) even if the parent is a registered sex offender! So from my perspective her filing these papers so they become public record, rather that filing them privately, is nothing more than a smear campaign on her part and doesn't tend to sway me in the least!

Secondly, threatening phone calls to the in-laws doesn't automatically make one a violent individual or an unfit parent. If his lawyer can prove that he was angry/upset/justified in some way, believing that they were trying to hurt his career or help Denise take away his kids, etc..then the taps become a moot point if they are even admissable AT ALL! As for the Kidie porn charge, this could backfire on Denise, if she doesn't have concrete proof that he acually possesed this material as these alligations are very serious and could lead to Jail Time for Charlie...
I'm not saying that I support Charlie, because I believe that he's an asshole and I do believe that he either verbally or physically abused her...It's just that her list of allegations are SO overboard and to the extreeme that I have a hard time believing them in their entirety!

Yes, maybe she was naive. Just as most of the American public and media seemed to be when they were praising Charlie's great comeback. Yes, he has a past, but maybe she was just optimistic and actually thought he had changed.
As for her having the second child, she was probably only fucking him out of fear. If what she says is true, I'm sure he raped her if she didn't want to have sex.
