Gayle was an anchorwoman here in Connecticut and she sucked balls. I mean, she would screw up her lines continuously. My sister worked as a manager at the Better Sportswear Department at Filenes and Gayle would come in scrounging the sales racks demanding the sales clerks to "find" stuff for her in size 10. Apparently, "whatever we have on the rack is what we have" was not good enough for cheapskate Gayle. So, um, yeah, we hate her around these parts.

Yeah, Gayle King was anchor on WFSB in Hartford for years and she just sucked. The only thing she could do constantly was stumble on her lines and let everyone know what was happening "on your favorite talk show at 4", yup, good ol' Oprah. A complete example of a no talent and a high powered friend keeping her employed.

Met Stedman at the airport once. Bumped into him and he was SO apologetic; also, VERY flirtatious. He was much more handsome in person, too. Also, having seen his significant other in person, too (the "Big O"), he really can't be with her; she's way too fug for the big Sted-man.
I must say that Oprah is very underrated as an actress, just my opinion-- I loved her in The Color Purple and also Brewster Place. And she is very credible as a straight woman; I think everyone in the 3000 miles between NY and LA believe all that Stedman crap.
My only problem with her is: how many billions of dollars do you need before you feel secure enough to come out?
