I don't get why celebrities are always comped stuff either. I mean, I am a minor celebrity in my field ("extreme sports") and so there are perks like getting into events free or getting comped products I've been involved with or from people who want my opinion. But it's ALWAYS offered and I'll always contribute in some other way (like making a donation or purchasing extra copies of videos for friends and family). As far as restaurants go, when we have had a great week and have extra to spare we always give a huge tip just because it feels good. I can't imagine demanding special treatment and free shit.
