Well, even if you DO put sunscreen on your kids, you have to be smart enough to limit their sun exposure so they do not get burned. Sunscreen only goes so far. I spent 100's of hours with mine at the local pool doing swim lessons. You can SEE when they start to turn red and then you either get them out of the sun or put a shirt over their swimsuit.
That's if you have a working brain cell in your head.
I will not let my kids go swimmimg now till about 4 in the afternoon or so because it's so damn hot here in fla. when they go out they have to have sunscreen on and get out of pool and get a drink of water at least 1 time per hour. ok so i'm a freak with my kids better safe than sorry.

I have a son with white blonde hair- I spend alot of money on sun block for him. I was so proud of the other mothers when his class went to White Sands for the last field trip of the school year in May. I couldn't get out of work but sent sun block with him.He was still white as a ghost when he got home in the afternoon. The other mothers made sure to watch out for his fair skin and White Sands = Sun Burn for anyone with fair skin usually.
If that is a sun burn on SPF I hope he's able to sleep. I wore a tank top that didn't cover my entire back not to long ago and burned my back to a crisp. Laying down was very painful for a few days.

You know, in all honesty, SPF is fair complected and probably flushed from the heat. My son has the same complexion and when he's outside, his cheeks and body flush like that even with sunscreen. I'd cut her a little slack on this one- at least he's wearing a hat and he's under shade.

When they were out in the water before these pics, he had no hat on, and no kind of flotation device. Some people said, why does he need a floatie, his dad is holding him? For that exact reason! A normal person who is not high on pot or coked out most of the time may have trouble standing in ocean water ie. the current and riptides are often very strong, even for good swimmers. So, in the event there was an emergency and Fug had to let go of him, at least he would be able to keep his head above water until someone got to him. And he is too young to be out in the direct sun like that. He should be under an umbrella playing in the sand.

Okay I haven't commented in a while but I MUST put my two cents in on this.
First of all I'm going to be very calm. I have decided to stop bashing her as much anymore since I watched her interview and realized that she too is a victim. She's so young and is having trouble and no one is around to help her, where is her mom?! Mind you I am NOT condoning her actions but I have to wonder about her family seeing this and doing nothing.
Secondly, this girl is having some sort of weird breakdown. I despise how she rants on about all the accidents being the pazzizis(sp?) fault when she is the one carrying her baby while wearing baggy clothes and high heels with her undergarmets hanging out--she puts this on herself! She thinks she is doing fine now, becoming strong, her entire way of thinking is FUBAR. That interview really hurt her.
She is in complete denial about everything. She IS NOT lying when she says she loves K-Fed and their live is great--she really believes what she says! She honestly thinks K-Fed is a great guy despite all reason. She is so caught up in a world of delusion that she thinks she's a god mom.
I saw some old interviews with Britney and I almost cried. If you saw her back in 1999 and 2000 she was this pretty, nice, clean, kind person who seemed to have a brain. I always hated her music but she was fine, she was actually a lot better of a person than most others famous.
I have no idea what happened to her but now I am really getting scared for this kid. Do any of you know how dangerous it is when a bad parent goes into denial and claims they are good? No jokes intended this is boarding on the pyscotic.
She faked those tears on that interview, she did not help herself one iota, the press will be after her more now. Why the hell did she dress liek that for the interview? Whatever she has done to herself is sad but what she is doing to this child is unforgivable, he looks like a lobster here, he could really get skin cancer.
Something needs to be done, maybe not take the kid away because she clearly loves him in her own muddled way but the police are going to have to step in and demand that she hire a professional nanny to stay with her at all times. This kid is really going to get killed at this rate.
Final disturbing thought: going back to the pyscosis deal has anyone ever thought that maybe Britney has gone insane?

How many of you would be interested in this picture if Sean wasn't in it? I'd be bored to tears. Hoenstly, I think Britney knew what she was doing. She obviously had a shirt on him beforehand and left his arms and face and legs to swellter in the sun. She knew the cameras were around so before getting into the cart she took his shirt off and displayed him knowing that the sunburn would be seen, the photos snapped and attention would be given.

When i put sunblock on my kids they still get red like that do to having pale skin.... that kid has pale skin that is why he is all red in the sun. Thats just what happens.... I just saw some video of Britney at the beach with Sean Preston. Mind you, I believe they are in Miami. Where the sun is STRONG, especially at this time of the year. I am an adult and when I was in Miami, I put spf 50 on religiously every 20 minues and still got burned. But back to the video. She is on the beach with Sean, playing, and then laying with her friend and the baby. She had NO umbrella, no hat or protective clothing for Sean, nothing. Now, in some frames you can see Sean had some sunscreen smeared on his face. But you can also see how pink his arms are. I cringed just looking at it.
Every mother I know, when they go to the beach, brings an umbrella and sets themselves up under there with their babies, who are usually wearing (a) a swimsuit over their diaper, (b) a protective hat, and (c) a tee shirt.
I really cannot understand how Britney, with all of her money, and people around her, can continually be so stupid. Babies' skin is so delicate. Brit may like to roast herself to leatherlike proportions, but she should really be thinking of her sun. This is very unsettling. If you look at the pictures really close u will see that his tummy is pale and white and u can see where he had a shirt on. If u look u will see his arm and then u will see the pale whit skin next to it.
Now since they are at the beach if your kids skin is very pale in the first place they will burn with or without sunblock when they are in the sun for to long.
Now u will see that her baby has a hat on and they are in a cart that is covered up by the sun. The guy in the cart is not smoking he is drinking out of a straw.
Its a shame that people do not look more close before talking trash about someone they do NOT even know.

It just really seems that way to me. I mean look at her childhood! She was always on the road, always busy, always needing attention but only being milked as a cash cow. Who ever really loved her for herself and not her money? Sadly I think no one.
She really does sound like a textbook case of someone who has devolped some sort of mental disorder. Everything about her now screams "mental illness" from the way she dresses, to that weird little girl voice she has taken to talking in to creating and believing her own delusions that she is fine.
I really think it's sad. She needs serious help and no one cares about her enough to help her. Isn't that tragic? How would you feel to be sick and have no way to help yourself and no one to care for you? I know it would break me apart.
I've said some pretty awful things about Britney in the past but after watching the interveiw with her the other night on NBC versus the old ones she used to do I feel so ashamed. I can't help but think this photo was staged. I mean he obviously was left to swellter and burn in the sun but he had a shirt on at one point! It's like she took the shirt off and got into the cart knowing the cameras were there and knowing the burn is easily sighted. She knows she'll get attention and if that's what she's after then she'll use any means to get it, even hurting the baby. She wants to be noticed, it doesn't matter whether in a good or bad light.
I feel sorry for her, I think she's sick. I'm not a doctor but I really think this is the case. My moms friend is a pyschiatic(sp?) nurse and she's the first one who mentioned this idea. It's makes a little too much sense.

You are 100% correct. The baby is the main issue here. Britney can't even take care of one, what the hell is she going to do with two? I have a sinking feeling someone is going to get killed and I'm not saying this to be cruel or as sick humor.

Britney wants attention, desperatley. So much so that she will put the kid in dangerous situations to get it. I think she is unable to stop herself, it's very possible she is chemically imbalanced.
Now it started out where stuff would happen in private and leak out, now everything is starting to happen right infront of the cameras. I think she realizes the bad parenting gives her attention and so she is progessing from being a SUSPECTED bad parent into being a KNOWN bad parent.
A while back the rumors fed her desire for attention, now she wants them to see her acting badly (I think this is all set up, the interviews, the sunburn, the diaper change at the store--all an attention plot). What the hell happens if she snaps in a few months, goes into some sort of hysterics over attention and really does decide to drown Sean in the bath tub or something for the "infamous attention"? In her mind it would be an "always remembered" incident as was the murder of Tate by Manson.
I'm not saying this to be cruel or as a joke, actually this sounds possible all things considered. The baby's life is in danger and Brit is a victim of her own mind. Look at her for Gods sake!
